To set the stage:
Morgan Wilkins, the intern hired by the Republican National Committee to win the hearts and minds of Michigan 20-somethings, is planning events that some may find odd. To others, they may be offensive.
One such idea is "Catch an Illegal Immigrant Day," in which a volunteer would play the part of an illegal immigrant and hide somewhere on campus while others try to find him. The winner would receive a prize.
Her other ideas include an event called "Fun with Guns," in which young Republicans would use a BB gun or paintball gun to shoot cardboard cut-outs of Democratic leaders such as Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.)
Well, the second part may be a bit over the line, but that is not the one that Dean is having the most problem with
Well this isn't the first time College Republicans have used such hate-filled tactics to try and win the hearts and minds of their peers. They've tried to do it before, at Penn State and at the University of Texas, and we think it has got to stop. So does Governor Dean, and today, he wrote a letter Republican National Committee Chairman, Ken Mehlman, telling him so.
It is hate filled to catch illegal aliens? Remember, Dean is the head (loon) of the DNC.
On to the letter
A troubling article today reported that a Republican National Committee-hired intern is planning events that can only be described as divisive, potentially dangerous, and discriminatory to promote the Republican Party's agenda at the University of Michigan.
Promoting "Catch an Illegal Immigrant Day," which has been used by the Republican Party in other states including Pennsylvania and Texas, is not only offensive, it promotes discrimination for political gain.
Got that? It is offensive and discriminatory to attempt to catch illegal aliens, especially as a private citizen. And particularly if one is a Republican.
This is one of the issues which GOP candidates need to destroy the Braying Asses on. Here in North Carolina, District 13, Vernon Robinson is going against Brad Miller (D-NC), and using the illegal alien issue heavily. And there are lots of hispanics in this area. Very bold tactic. And one that seems to be working, since Miller and the NC Democratic Party are having hissy fits. No polling as of yet.
As a sidebar, the NC Dems only focus is on national politics. Very little is on North Carolina politics. For those who are NC residents, we know why, since NC Democrats make NJ politics look positively angelic.
You can always count on the Democrats to redefine words for their own use. You see, if they claim it’s racist, then stupid people (other Democrats) will only hear that Republicans are racist, and never question the Democrat leaders.

I am serious, joated. You can ask Ogre. NC politics is the very definition of “culture of corruption.” Maybe it is because we are close to it, but we read about the constant pork, payoffs, illegal activities, stupid political activities, etc, in NC.
I grew up in NJ, my parents are still there, and I post on an NJ political forum alot, and the corruption there is pretty bad. But, I would compare NC politics, and the NC Dem party which is in control to the worst of the mafia. It really is bad.
