USSC Gives Dems A Win In Texas (?)

From MSNBC

The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld most of the Texas congressional map engineered by former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay but threw out part, saying some of the new boundaries failed to protect minority voting rights.

The fractured decision was a small victory for Democratic and minority groups who accused Republicans of an unconstitutional power grab in drawing boundaries that booted four Democratic incumbents out of office.

Let me get this straight: the US Supreme Court overturned a small part of the Texas redistricting plan, in a State that still votes largely GOP, even the Hispanics (those who are legal citizens, of course), and this is a win for the Democrats?

Well, I guess it is if you are a hysterical, feelings based Loon, who takes absurd and petty pleasure at the slightest defeat or setback of any Republican, in this case, Tom Delay, who most have never even met, yet the Left despises.

Look, I don't like people like Pelosi, Murtha, Kerry, Kennedy, etc, politically. But I cannot say that I dislike or hate any of them personally. Hell, for all I know they may be very nice people and alot of fun outside the political arena. Or, maybe not. I bet all of us have family and friends who have faults.

But, the loons are going nuts here and here over this "big win." Some choice moonbattery:

  •  1. WooooooHooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  •  5. w00t!
  •  8. F*cking EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ! These repuke pieces of sh*t knew it was illegal. (edited)
  •  10. Incredible news! …
  •  12. This is wonderful news.
  •  19. THIS IS HUGE, HUGE ENOUGH FOR ME TO SPELL HUGE RIGHT
  •  YES! Supreme Court overturns part of Texas' political map
  •  3. This is good news!

Surprisingly, there were some sane progressives who realize that this decision is not a good one for the Dems. Their rationality and sanity overtook their abject seething and loathing.
