Chapel Hill Terrorist To Appear In Court

I’m confused (via WRAL)

A man accused of driving a SUV into a group of students at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill will make an appearance before a judge on Friday.

Taheri-Azar told investigators he wanted to kill people as payback for the killing of Muslims around the world.

The Orange County district attorney told WRAL he plans on sending Taheri-Azar’s case to a grand jury for indictment.

Let’s see: he admitted guilt to the police. It is on tape. He admitted it in his first court hearing. Why do we need a grand jury? He is stone cold guilty. Send it right to the penalty phase. Our legal system is too bloated.

“A man accused…” indeed. An accurate, factual report would have read, “The Terrorist who…”
