Surrender Monkeys Shrill On GOP Video

Poor, poor, Dems. They sent out Sen. Daniel Inouye this time to be the Designated Whiner (via Drudge)

Today, Senator Daniel Inouye, the Ranking Member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and a recipient of the Medal of Honor for his service in World War II, released the following statement:

"As a Veteran of World War II, I know what it’s like to fight a war and put your life on the line every day. I also know what it takes to win a war, and I know that politics and an attack machine like the President’s plays no part in it.

"The Republican Party’s latest ad is a shameful and disgusting attempt to distract the American people from the problems in Iraq. It may improve the President’s political fortunes, but the American people and our troops will pay the price. I hope that President Bush realizes how shameful it is to play politics when what we really need is leadership, and that he will direct his Party to take down this ad immediately."

Kinda funny when one realizes that, in every speech and utterance made by Democrats, we see that Democrats are incapable of offering true leadership. Why else do they continuously have to ask others to lead them? Inouye also has the Left Loon patter down, with the use of "distract."

Matt Margolis at Blogs For Bush has two lines that really stand out:

It’s funny how Inouye uses "shameful and disgusting" to describe an ad that features the words of his fellow Democrats.

Also, Inouye says that he knows "what it takes to win a war," but he hasn’t shared that information with anyone his party, since all they do is criticize but offer no plan of their own.

The Surrender Monkeys will probably blame their poor choices of words on Darth Rove 😉

  1. Ogre says:

Why is it that Democrats automatically assume that if a Democrat has ANY military service in their background that they are automatically an expert — on everything from politics to waging war?

I know an awful lot of people that were in the military that I wouldn’t elect to dog-catcher, nor would they win a battle between themselves and a wet paper bag…

  2. It is to cover up the fact that they really hate the military. And the CIA. And the FBI. And any other organization that protects the country.
