A target rich environment

John Hawkins at Right Wing News talks about "reading the Huffington Post every day" since it is a "target rich environment." Let me add another one to the list. John Kerry’s official Senate site. So nice that Kerry uses this site, and official .gov site, to attack, attack, complain, whine, and attack. Somewhere among those words that he surely had someone else write, a plan there might be (sorry, too much Yoda quotes as of late, there be).

Here’s a great one:

"Now I don’t go around preaching my faith, but I’ll tell you what I believe: When hundreds of thousands of innocent souls have perished in Darfur, when 11 million children are without health insurance in the United States of America and when our colossal debt subjects our economic future to the whims of central bankers in Asia — no one can tell me that faith demands the Senate spend its time arguing over a handful of judges. No one with those priorities can use my faith to intimidate me. "

No, you don’t go around preaching your faith. Quite the opposite, John. You seem to take delight at actually preaching the opposite of what you Catholic faith tells you, such as that abortion and gay marriage are ok, which is against the Catholic church. And where were you, John, when 800,000 Rwadans were being slaughtered as the UN and the Clinton administration turned the other way?

Furthermore, you seem to be saying that there is no point in arguing over a handful of judges, if I read you correctly. Great. Tell Reid, Pelosi, and Boxer, and let’s get those judicial nominees up in front of the Senate and vote on them.

"I will not lay down and put this narrow, stubborn agenda ahead of our families, ahead of our Constitution, and ahead of our values. We are a proud nation that respects the rights of the minority, values the separation of church and state, and believes in honesty and personal responsibility. And I refuse to stand by while our democracy is trampled by politicians more concerned about amassing power than helping the people who sent them to Washington in the first place."

So you are going to fight against the obstructionism of the Demomoonbat Party? John, we hardly knew ye. Separation of Church and State? Could you point that out in the Bill of Rights? ‘Cause I sure cannot find it in my copy. Perhaps you should read Jefferson’s letter which was pretty much saying that the Federal Gov’t shouldn’t give money nor support to one religion over another. And, if you believe in honesty, why not sign your 180’s?

(PS, there is no post continuation. I started to write something much longer using that, then changed my mind)

Until 2 months before Election Day if I’m losing or within the margin of error.
