Where I Stand

An intersting quiz, via the Pirate’s Blog. Kinda hard to get the measure of a person with so few questions, but, I would say it is pretty close, ‘cepting that personal responsibility thing. Only thing I am "liberal" leaning is on the environment, though I do not take the liberal position of throwing money at an issue. Wise use and conservation are my buzz words. I like a clean, pristine environment. The best measure of my thoughts is that the first channels I check when turning the boob tube on are ones with nature shows.

    You’re assuming, of course, that the environment is a liberal issue. I don’t think that any conservative wants to salt and burn the whole earth. We just try to balance the opportunity cost with the opportunity benefit.

    For example, when you just leave a forest to burn, does that really benefit anybody or anything?
