Pakistan’s main opposition leader accused U.S. President George W. Bush on Saturday of using the war on terror for political gain and to pursue an anti-Muslim agenda.
Pro-Taliban Islamic leader Fazal-ur-Rehman told a protest rally of a few hundred people that the United States and Bush had used the “sad” day of Sept. 11, 2001 in a “barbaric” way to wage war against Muslims across the world.
“Bush is creating fear and insecurity in the minds of American people too, to prolong his rule,” said Rehman. “But the American people are now realising that his stance was wrong.” ..
So now the Demorats are taking their cues from a Pro-Taliban supporter? Not that I am surprised by any means. Especially at the DU.
And, BTW, might take a look at how the Left is turning on CNN and MSNBC, which, at one point, where bastions of Left Wing support. Make sure to wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap when done 🙂
