Third tier Democratic loser candidate Dennis Kucinich is working hard to ingratiate himself even more to the kook fringe base of the Democrat Party. The Surrender Monkey is rather upset that he couldn’t have gone off the reservation last Thursday

Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Dennis Kucinich criticized President George W. Bush, claiming that he is trying to start World War III.

Kucinich took issue with comments Bush made on Wednesday, saying “I take the threat of Iran with a nuclear weapon very seriously. I’ve told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from have (sic) the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”

But in a statement released Thursday, the congressman from Ohio said that by raising the specter of a possible World War III predicated on Iran’s nuclear energy ambitions, “the White House rodeo cowboy has gone dangerously too far and precipitously too close to igniting the war he claims to be trying to avoid.”

“You can worry about the apocalypse, or, you can ensure it by manipulating intelligence and, with pre-meditation, put your finger on the trigger that will make Iran the next deadly domino in the President’s irresponsible and irrational approach to the complex and sensitive political issues that make the region a more volatile tinder box than ever before,” Kucinich said.

“If the President continues policies that fuel the extremists in Iraq because of our continued occupation, and if he continues rallying support in Congress for possible aggression against Iran, he is purposely fulfilling his own prophesy and sentencing this nation and its brave sons and daughters to a war that never ends and a newer, bigger war that will be even more horrific,” he said.

I wonder when Dennis will make a statement condemning Iran for attempting to gain nuclear weapons, denying the Holocaust, threatening multiple times to wipe Israel off the map, and sending fighters and material in to Iraq to kill our troops and destabilise what we are attempting to do.

Not likely to happen: in Liberal World, everything is the fault of the United States, and, during these past 7 years, particularly George Bush’s fault.  Liberals are actually going much farther then Chamberlain ever did: not only do they want appeasement, they will attempt to undermine any attempt to provide a strong face to dangerous groups and nations by defaming our country, its policy, and its president. Then they will blame Bush and the U.S.A. when the policies fail and the world becomes more dangerous, claiming they had nothing to do with it.

God forbid they ever once blame the enemy, but, of course, liberals see the USA as the bad guy in every situation. But, you can buy your own special copy of the Constitution from Kucinich, something I’m guessing he carries, but never actually reads or comprehends.

Is there anyone more disloyal to the Marines then John Murtha, who is, as the MSM likes to point out all the time, a former Marine? Of course, let us not forget that he said "One Marine was killed and the Marines just said we’re going to take care – we don’t know who the enemy is, the pressure was too much on them, so they went into houses and they actually killed civilians." Yet, the Marines involved have continued to be exhonerated, and now we find out, via Stop The ACLU, from Warchronicles

Buried in the mountain of exhibits attached to the once secret Haditha, Iraq murder inquiry prepared by US Army Maj. Gen. Eldon A. Bargewell is an obscure Marine Corps intelligence summary (see pdf) that says the deadly encounter was an intentional propaganda ploy planned and paid for by Al Qaeda foreign fighters. 

Veteran military defense attorney Gary Meyers said he never understood why the Naval Criminal Investigative Service special agents leading the Haditha criminal investigation didn’t “examine the linkage” between Al Qaeda, the local insurgency and the events at Haditha. Meyers was an attorney on the defense team that successfully defended Justin Sharratt, a Marine infantryman accused of multiple murders at Haditha.

The report – apparently overlooked by a Washington press corps awash in leaked Bargewell documents and secret Naval Criminal Investigative Service reports – shows that Marine Corps intelligence operatives were advised of the scheme to demonize the Marines by an informant named Muhannad Hassan Hamadi. The informant was snared by 3/1 Marines on December 11 2005 and decided to cooperate.

The media has ignored it, and Murtha certainly will, as well. And where are the Democrats calling for an investigation into what happened, to "get to the truth of the matter?" None of them will be seen, that’s where. They will hide behind their slanderous statements and disgusting anti-military rants, with the Old Media not only protecting them, but attempting to bolster their hatred. Let’s not forget, back in April 2007

This officer, described by senior Marine Corps superiors as one of the best and most dedicated intelligence officers in the entire Marine Corps, was in possession of evidence which provided a minute-by-minute narrative of the entire day’s action — material which he had amassed while monitoring the day’s action in his capacity as the battalion’s intelligence officer. That material, he says, was also in the hands of the NCIS.

Much of that evidence remains classified, but it includes videos of the entire day’s action, including airstrikes against insurgent safe houses. Also included was all of the radio traffic describing the ongoing action between the men on the ground and battalion headquarters, and proof that the Marines were aware that the insurgents conducting the ambush of the Kilo Company troops were videotaping the action — the same video that after editing ended up in the hands of a gullible anti-war correspondent for Time magazine.

Can we call the Democrats and the Liberal media un-patriotic and anti-military yet? Also known as "being a traitor."

For those who weren’t aware (meaning everyone on the Left), the A in ACLU stands for American. I am pretty confident that the ACLU has completely forgotten in, as they are now doing all they can to find ways to smear our troops

Newly released documents regarding crimes committed by U.S. soldiers against civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan detail a pattern of troops failing to understand and follow the rules on interrogations and deadly actions, the American Civil Liberties Union says.

The documents, released today by the ACLU ahead of a lawsuit, total nearly 10,000 pages of courts-martial summaries, transcripts and military investigative reports about 22 incidents. They include examples of soldiers believing they were within the law when they killed citizens.

The documents were obtained through a federal Freedom of Information Act request. The suit seeks to compel the military to produce all documents related to all incidents of civilian deaths at the hands of U.S. troops since January 2005.

Isn’t that just fantastic? Now, the soldiers may be American, but it appears that the ACLU is attempting to "protect" the rights of foreigners, particularly ones in war zones, which begs the same old two questions: whose side is the ACLU on, and can we question the left’s support of our troops yet?

When did their job become to attempt to protect the rights of foreigners? Yes, that is right, when they are seeing a way to take the military and our country down a peg, like liberals are wont to do. Why else would they be so concerned with warrantless surveillence of foreigners in foreign countries and foreigners captured on the battlefields of Afghanistan at G’itmo?

I question their patriotism, I question the moral compass, and I question their motives and purposes.

BAGHDAD — Tens of thousands of Iraqis, from the Shi’ite south to the Kurdish-dominated north, poured into the usually treacherous streets yesterday to celebrate a rare moment of national joy and unity after the country’s soccer team won Asia’s most prestigious tournament.

The revelers spanning the country’s sectarian and ethnic divisions danced, sang and waved flags and posters of the team after Iraq upset three-time champion Saudi Arabia 1-0 to take the Asian Cup.

Well, Harry Reid hasn’t commented on the Iraqi soccer team as of yet, but, that is telling in itself, isn’t it? Do you think we will hear from any of the Democrats? Will Pelosi give a big "great job, guys!" to them? Obama probably won’t meet with them, as they are not dictators and tyrants. Clinton will have to take a few polls and organize some focus groups. Maybe Murtha could accuse them of a few atrocities, to boot.

Meanwhile, hell of a job, guys! And all without the torture and brutality that would have occured while Saddam’s son Uday was in charge. You know, I have to wonder, where are all the media outlets in reporting on that? Generally, they have been saying "Iraq soccer team wins, yawn, here’s a suicide bomber."

From what I hear, the writing on the Statue Of Liberty has been changed during the recent renovations

(Washington Times) As many U.S. cities and states arrest illegal aliens in raids and toughen laws against them, a Connecticut city is offering to validate them under a new, first-in-the-nation ID-card program.

Starting tomorrow, New Haven will offer illegal aliens municipal identification cards that allow access to city services such as libraries and a chance to open bank accounts.

Supporters say the cards will improve public safety and give illegal aliens protections now afforded legal residents. Critics contend that it will unleash a flood of illegal immigration, straining services and wasting taxpayer money.

New Haven officials overwhelmingly approved the program last month in a 25 to 1 vote.

Doesn’t that make you proud? City councils clearly violating federal law and providing not only sanctuary (I always think Logans Run when I hear that word), but services for which illegals are not legally entitled to, and do not pay for. Will New Haven even attempt to see if any of the illegals are criminals, such as rapists, murderers, gang members, such as MS-13, and/or people with violent pasts? Doubtful.

Kica Matos, a leader of local Hispanic advocacy group Junta for Progressive Action, said undocumented workers are often targeted by thieves and robbed because they carry cash, a result of not being able to open a bank account.

Here’s a perfect idea to avoid that: the workers go back to their home countries, and attempt to come to the USA legally, so that the workers will be afforded the legal protections of our laws, such as opening a bank account. And do not overstay your visa. But, hell, if New Haven wants to do that, then all illegals in the country should move to New Haven, as NC based Americans For Legal Immigration suggests. Overwhelm their support systems, their living space, their medical system, their police force. Make sure you say hello to the city council in person.

Is your city a sanctuary city? Check the list. I was surprised that Raleigh, the state capital, the supposed place where laws are passed, is a sanctuary city. Write your local paper, write your elected officials, attend a city council meeting. Tell them this is wrong.

Yes, it is time for blame, something Democrats are perfect at. It is always the other guys fault. Except, of course, for the United States, which they always blame first. But, I digress. The Dems have been playing their "blame the rich" game for quite awhile now, and doing all they can to make the economy sound like buffalo chips. And who can help the people as they become more upset?

(CNSNews.com) – Americans are more anxious about their economic security and are calling for government action, according to a Democratic pollster who says that situation bodes well for the Democratic Party.

Speaking at a briefing sponsored by the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., pollster Celinda Lake said Americans are "angry and anxious" about their economic security and few have achieved the "American dream."

According to a recent nationwide survey of 800 non-supervisory workers, Lake said the "cornerstones of the American dream" in the view of those surveyed are wages that support a family, affordable quality healthcare, opportunities for their children, respect for hard work, and retirement security.

"Workers are increasingly pessimistic about achieving the American dream," she said. "Only 18 percent of Americans believe they have achieved the American dream."

What they have created is an ugly little loop. Democrats complain about the economy, scaring and demoralizing people, who then ask the government to fix it and pay for it, which is exactly what Democrats want to happen, so they complain more, and so on. And the help that Democrats always seem to want to offer are negatives: restriction and ultimatums on businesses, jacking up the minimum wage, more unionization, more handouts. All are about blame on others.

Positives are typically left out of the mix. Things like going and getting an education, learning to write and speak in literate Adult, working hard, spending wisely, learning to invest, not spending all night partying and coming in late and hungover, stop having children so young when you cannot afford them and do not have the time, don’t tattoo yourself, get all sorts of body piercings, and expect to get a good job, and learning to dress yourself. Also, that little thing called personal responsibility. That is a hard concept for liberals to understand.

Those are all things they should be teaching in government schools, rather then their silly socialist agenda, all the feel good claptrap. I see kids coming in for jobs, and they cannot even dress themselves. Every time I am part of a mass interview day, I tend to dismiss at least one or two for being improperly dressed for a professional position. And could dismiss even more. I relegate resumes to the "forget it" file en mass because of grammar and misspellings, including failure to capitalize their own names! How sad is that?

The NY Times, on the front page, also takes a stab at the "government should fix the economy" position, with the Democrats in prime position to pander to people. They fail to mention what high taxes and government intervention do to the "American Dream." Democrats love polls, love taking advantage of them, seeing which way the wind is blowing, and any one that says people want more government and socialism gives them orgasmic delight.

Now, government can, and should, help. However, they should do it in a way as to empower people, not make them them dependent.

Seems as if Michael Chertoff has been running his mouth yet again

(Washington Times) Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff yesterday scolded senators for failing to pass an immigration bill with new border and interior enforcement tools, refused to commit to spending the $4.4 billion in border security President Bush said is needed, and said the onus is now on Congress to pass something.

"We’re going to say to the members of Congress who think they have a better way that they should produce legislation and pass legislation, which they have not done for the past two years," Mr. Chertoff said on "Fox News Sunday."

"They’ve tried ‘enforcement-only.’ That didn’t pass. We’ve tried ‘comprehensive.’ That’s stalled. I think it’s now time for Congress, which has the power to legislate, to make a determination about how it wants to help us solve this problem," he said.

Au contraire, Mr. Chertoff. There are plenty of laws on the books which you and President Bush choose to ignore regarding illegal immigration. Such as building the friggin’ fence. Such as going in to businesses and arresting illegals, then sending the whole family to wherever they originated from. I notice that most of the raids have stopped since the shamnesty bill hit the Senate floor. Why is that, Sec. Chertoff?

Apparently, the $4.4 billion was going to come from the fines paid by illegals. So, let me get this straight: the Z visa bullshit wasn’t going to start till certain metrics were hit, which would have been several years from now. But the money to pay to hit those metrics was going to come from those fines for the Z visas. See anything wrong with that scenario?

Mr. Chertoff said he will have a tough time enforcing existing laws without some of the tools the Senate bill would have given him, including stiffer employer sanctions, but said the administration has been enforcing the laws and will continue to do so.

I call bullshit! The 2 miles of fence built are the only proof necesssary, though there is plenty more.

There is plenty more to the story, which will make you feel like a liberal at a GOP convention. Might want to wait till later in the day, so you do not start the day as angry(wo)man.
