Tim Walz, Keith Ellison Referred To DOJ Over Minnesota Fraud

Could this much fraud, especially involving a favorite group of Minnesota Democrats, commit that much fraud without the Governor and AG knowing about it, especially when they were warned?

Minnesota fraud coverup under Walz featured whistleblowers threatened with drastic military measures, emails expose

Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and state Attorney General Keith Ellison knew of billions of dollars in benefit fraud “much earlier than they led the public to believe” — and allowed whistleblowers who flagged it to suffer retaliation, according to a stunning report released Monday.

The Walz administration “retaliated against employees who tried to raise concerns, going to great lengths to keep them quiet, including intimidation through regular check-ins with high-level agency officials and threats of military surveillance,” the report revealed.

More than 30 whistleblowers spoke with the panel to help compile the report — including several who were threatened with “military surveillance” by deputy assistant commissioner Emmanuel Nwala at a behavioral health agency. (snip)

And despite receiving repeated warnings about the swindle, Walz and his team “repeatedly failed to act,” costing taxpayers dearly, the GOP-led House Oversight Committee concluded in its 205-page report.

“Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison are responsible for one of the most stunning oversight failures this Committee has ever examined,” Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) said in a statement.

“Billions of dollars were stolen because Minnesota state leaders turned a blind eye to rampant fraud and retaliated against state employees who dared to raise concerns,” he added. “It is now clear the Walz Administration chose to protect the system rather than protect the taxpayer.”

It’s a hell of an article, well worth the read, which is unsurprisingly missing from the NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, and so many big media outlets. CNN doesn’t cover the report, except in passing in this article

Vance recommends DOJ criminal investigation into Tim Walz and Minnesota AG over state’s fraud scandal

Vice President JD Vance, who leads the White House anti-fraud task force, has referred allegations of complicity surrounding fraud in Minnesota, including against Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison, to the Department of Justice for criminal investigation.

The criminal referral stems from a House Oversight Committee report on an ongoing investigation that alleges “fraud warnings were elevated to senior levels of the Minnesota state government, meaningful corrective action was delayed or avoided, and payments continued long after credible red flags emerged.”

Detailing the report in a letter to Vance on Sunday, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer encouraged the vice president’s task force “to direct the appropriate executive branch agencies to conduct a thorough review of all of Minnesota’s social services program integrity measures, oversight processes, reimbursements, and enrollment from 2019 to the present.”

“Minnesota state officials are not above the law, and if they facilitated fraud, lied under oath about what they knew, or harassed and intimated whistleblowers, they must face justice,” Vance said on X.

Will the investigation find evidence that they were part of the fraud, receiving kickbacks? Time will tell.

(Fox News) Vance made the announcement during an appearance on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” when he was asked about a report released by the House Oversight Committee alleging that state officials, including Walz and Ellison, were warned of fraud in the state but did not take action to stop it in part because of litigation threats and concerns about being accused of discrimination.

“We’re certainly going to investigate this, Jesse, and I guess now I can make a bit of breaking news because I left the White House to come here to do this interview with you. And before I did, we actually referred this particular case to the Department of Justice for a full criminal investigation. We are not going to do what the Biden administration did and make judgments of the law before all the facts are in,” Vance said.

“But here’s what’s particularly troubling about this to me is, Jesse, you had people within Governor Walz’s office who were saying, you know what? This looks like fraud. It looks like these Somalian illegal immigrants are doing something that’s very shady, and then you had people who shut them down, who shut these whistleblowers down and said, you know, you’re a racist or you’re a xenophobe for asking questions about where taxpayer money is going,” he continued.

We’ll see where this goes.

Trump Admin Looking To Revoke Citizenship For 17 Fraudsters

Trump administration launches largest-ever effort to denaturalize U.S. citizens accused of fraud or other crimes

The Trump administration on Monday announced it is seeking to revoke the citizenship of 17 U.S. citizens accused of immigration fraud, expanding its unprecedented denaturalization campaign.

CBS News exclusively reported about the plans before they were unveiled by the Justice Department.

Officials said the move represents the largest-ever effort by the U.S. government to use its denaturalization powers, which were rarely invoked before President Trump returned to the White House last year with promises to launch a historic deportation blitz. Between 1990 and 2017, the Justice Department filed an average of just 11 legal complaints per year seeking to denaturalize American citizens, historical figures indicate. (snip)

Some of the 17 citizens targeted in the latest denaturalization campaign were convicted of violent or serious crimes, including sex offenses against children. Others were convicted of fraud crimes or accused of committing immigration fraud.

In federal court complaints filed across the country in recent days, Justice Department officials argued that the individuals concealed their criminal activity when they applied for U.S. citizenship or were otherwise ineligible to be naturalized, including because they lacked a “good moral character,” one of the requirements in the naturalization process.

So, bad people who never should have been given citizenship in the first place, and you can bet that most were given easy citizenship, not having to go through the normal process

Those targeted in the latest round of denaturalization cases include a Haitian immigrant who allegedly sexually abused his daughter; a man from the former Yugoslavia convicted of sexually abusing a child under the age of 15; an immigrant from Mexico convicted of receiving sexually explicit images of minors; a former Catholic priest born in Colombia accused of child sex abuse; and a Filipino-born man who pleaded guilty to a child sex crime.

The group also includes an Indian immigrant accused of filing fraudulent H-1B visa petitions; the daughter of a Colombian drug trafficker accused of money laundering; a man born in Jamaica convicted of wire fraud; and a Cuban-born woman accused of defrauding a tribal casino. Other naturalized citizens were accused of using false identities.

You Dems can’t seriously argue to keep these people, right? The DOJ outlines exactly who these people are.

An electrical engineering expert stated that a rare lightning strike on a motorcycle delivery rider on an elevated bridge was not a coincidence but was linked to climate change, while the survivor’s family confirmed he is now safe and recovering. The incident occurred during heavy rainfall on the Ratchavipha elevated bridge, where the rider, was struck directly, causing him to crash and sustain severe injuries before being rushed to a hospital. His wife reported that while he remains in the intensive care unit, he is conscious, able to eat, and can converse. He feels tightness and pain in his face due to being struck on the right side. As for the moment of the strike, he only remembers seeing a flash of lightning before blacking out, with no memory of any other events. Doctors are keeping him under observation for another 48 hours.

Dusit Suksawat, an assistant professor of electrical engineering at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, said a direct lightning strike on a moving motorcyclist’s helmet on a bridge is unprecedented in Thailand. He explained that elevated structures act like tall buildings, and climate change has increased the frequency of “rain bombs”—intense, localized downpours that significantly raise the accumulated voltage in cloud formations. Dusit noted that lightning victims often survive due to a phenomenon called “flashover,” where extreme heat travels rapidly across the skin’s surface in a fraction of a second, causing superficial burns rather than destroying internal organs.

Strokes could increase as climate changes, researchers say

Climate change could make strokes more common.

That’s the conclusion of an international panel of experts that reviewed almost 200 scientific publications assessing the link between strokes and global warming. Stroke risk increases with temperature extremes, as well as with exposure to wildfire smoke, dust and sandstorms, according to a World Stroke Organization study recently published in the International Journal of Stroke.

“This is happening right now, all the time,” said Anna Ranta, an academic stroke neurologist at the University of Otago in New Zealand who led the research. The uptick in strokes disproportionately impacts low- and middle-income countries around the equator. “I think high income countries haven’t seen the impacts, and I think that’s why we don’t have that visibility.”

Erdogan Warns Climate Change Poses Global Threat Comparable to Wars and Pandemics

Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned that climate change represents a serious threat to humanity, saying its consequences are comparable to global wars and pandemics.

Speaking in Istanbul on Sunday, June 7, Erdogan said climate change is one of the most pressing global challenges facing humanity today.

He added that the world is currently in an era where new technologies and artificial intelligence are accelerating production, but uncontrolled and excessive consumption is placing significant pressure on nature.

The Turkish president also referred to his country’s environmental initiatives, noting that the “Zero Waste” movement has become a global initiative and has been recognized by the United Nations.

He’s pretty late to the party of trying to use the scam to get more money out of the peasants and control their lives, eh?

Good Grief: Virginia Groups Sues To Stop MMA Fight At White House

A federal lawsuit seeks to halt the upcoming UFC fight card on the White House South Lawn in a mixed martial arts show timed for President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and part of the celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The filing Saturday by the Public Integrity Project on behalf of two Virginia residents contends the Trump administration’s authorization of the June 14 event was unlawful. The lawsuit says such approval violated National Park Service regulations prohibiting sporting events on federal parklands, Congress did not consent to the towering arch overlooking the event space and no environmental review was conducted before the construction.

“This is fundamentally a private, commercial, corrupt use of our most sacred national monuments for private gain,” said Brendan Ballou, a lawyer for the plaintiffs. “And that is what is motivating this lawsuit.”

The White House said in a statement that the legal challenge was “an obstructionist, baseless, and dilatory” attempt to prevent Trump from hosting the fight and that the event was “no different than the various other White House-hosted events on the South Lawn and properly permitted events on the Ellipse and National Mall throughout the year.”

Personally, I think it’s garish and silly, and I have zero interest in MMA, but, it’s no big deal. Once it’s over the stage and stuff will be gone and things will be back to normal. The PIP is just losing it because Orange Man Bad. That’s it.

Crews are erecting an octagon-shaped cage on the South Lawn. Trump has said the finished UFC project will feature “a 5,000-seat arena right outside the front door of the White House.” Additional large screens broadcasting the fights will be set up in a park at the nearby Ellipse, and the UFC has said it plans to issue as many as 85,000 free tickets to accommodate spectators at both locations.

Maybe they’re upset that the tickets are free, and no Democrat group is making slush money off it? Nah, just Trump Derangement Syndrome.

(ESPN) The suit claims violations of park service regulations by allowing the event to occur, that the construction of the UFC’s claw stadium structure on the South Lawn needed congressional authorization because it is federal parkland, and that there was not an environmental review “before undertaking ‘major federal action’ significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.”

“We think that this is a profound misuse of our sacred national monuments for private gain,” said Brendan Ballou, the lead attorney for the Public Integrity Project. “And we think that needs to be stopped because it breaks the law.”

All excuses because of TDS, but, maybe there is a little bit there about not getting their cut?

Hollywood once promised to help save the planet. Leonardo DiCaprio warned of climate catastrophe from awards stages. Celebrities flew to climate conferences. Studios pledged greener productions. Streaming platforms rushed to commission environmental documentaries. But in 2026, with the aftermath of wildfires, heatwaves and floods becoming routine, a question lingers: Does Hollywood still care about climate change?

At the seventh annual Hollywood Climate Summit in Los Angeles this week, organizers attempted to answer with a resounding yes. The event gathered filmmakers, actors, comedians, activists, scientists and media executives to explore how storytelling can inspire climate action across food systems, health, infrastructure and popular culture.

One of the most recognizable voices came from Maggie Baird, founder of Support + Feed and mother of Grammy-winning musician Billie Eilish. We wrote about Maggie’s new show here. Speaking on the panel “How Food Tells Our Stories,” Baird described how her daughter’s global tours have become platforms for climate-conscious food choices.

Um, if she’s one of the most recognizable faces, than, no, Hollywood no longer cares. But, then, did they really care, or just mouth platitudes while living in mansions, driving fossil fueled luxury vehicles, and flying in private jets?

Meanwhile, a panel called “Greenlight California” explored how climate infrastructure projects such as high-speed rail and sustainable urban planning could determine the future of film production in Los Angeles. California Film Commission Director Colleen Bell argued that investing in infrastructure is ultimately an investment in Hollywood itself.

Does anyone think the celebs will take the train? Provided it is ever finished. And most of them live far away in the suburbs, away from the urban areas they want to plan for the peasants.

Seriously, there’s not one name mentioned in the article that 99.999% of people would recognize.

Unhinged Axios: Trump’s “Enforcers” Playing Host At World Cup

Trump’s immigration enforcers play host for the World Cup

The agency driving President Trump’s mass deportation campaign is now preparing to welcome millions of foreign visitors at the World Cup.

Why it matters: The June 12 kickoff in Los Angeles — followed by 77 matches in just over a month — will trigger a wave of arrivals who’ll come face-to-face with the immigration system that’s generated backlash over the last year.

Activists, soccer fans and even a former FIFA president have cautioned against coming to the U.S., claiming visitors should fear racial profiling, surveillance, and even ICE detention.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin pushed back on those concerns in a CBS News interview, saying ICE won’t be there to “round up” immigrants at matches.

“It’s Immigration and Custom[s] Enforcement,” Mullin told CBS News. “So what do you find at a tremendous amount of sporting events? Counterfeit products, counterfeit tickets. You have counterfeit clothing being sold on the streets.”

It’s highly offensive to refer to ICE agents as “enforcers”, when they are simply doing the job authorized by duly elected Congresses. And a goodly chunk do things like stopping human trafficking, which usually involves women and children being trafficked.

ICE, and its Homeland Security Investigation team, are responsible for preventing human trafficking, instances of which are known to increase during major sporting events, and combating the sale of counterfeit goods.

Many other departments of the DOJ, along with the Coast Guard, will be doing all sorts of security, so, fuck off with this enforcer shit.

Sherrill announces $12 million increase and new rapid-response initiative amid escalating immigration enforcement

In response to the Trump administration’s recent attacks on migrant communities, officials announced that the state will expand the funding and availability of legal services meant to help immigrants facing detention and deportation.

Gov. Mikie Sherrill, a first-term Democrat, said in a Thursday news release that New Jersey will devote another $12 million to the Detention Deportation Defense Initiative, which provides free legal representation to poor residents slated for removal.

The state will also create a Rapid Legal Response Initiative to fight expedited deportations that happen without due process, challenge other unlawful third-country deportations, and prevent transfers that push detainees far from their families and legal counsel, among other things.

Mickie cares more about the illegals than the citizens of NJ who are seeing their energy prices skyrocket, making everything else skyrocket.
