James T. Hodgkinson, 66, of Belleville, Illinois, opened fire on a congressional baseball practice outside of Washington, D.C., a senior law-enforcement official told The Daily Beast. President Donald Trump said the suspect died of his injuries.
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, two Capitol Police officers, and congressional staffers were wounded. They are all expected to survive, according to police.

James T. Hodgkinson, 66, was from Belleville, Illinois, the newspaper reports. A motive for the shooting is not yet known, but Hodgkinson’s Facebook page shows someone who had a high interest in politics, who supported Bernie Sanders during the presidential election and expressed anger with President Donald Trump and Republican Congressmen.

Certainly, the narrative has already been established that Hodgkinson is an outlier and not representative of Democrats or their violent or insurrectionist narratives, like that Trump stole the election with the help of Russia and they should #Resist out in the streets. This is what the Dems and their compliant media will push, and their brainwashed masses will push.
Now, imagine this was an unhinged Trump voter shooting Dem Congresspeople. What would that narrative look like?

Trump can put a stop to all of this by beginning the process of putting Hillary and the Obama administration in jail. They have failed to honor the peaceful transfer of power, so they should face the lawful consequences. Plus, something needs to be said about gun control. Here is a perfect example of where people are at the mercy of a nut with a gun. If just a few had a gun then many of the people would not have been hurt. But this area is a maximum gun control area, and we see that the bad guy was not worried about the law.
I guess that he should have been, because there were Capitol police there, and they were armed.
Mr Hodgkinson was from Illinois, a state which is whacko left over gun control, and has been controlled by the Democrats for years. How, one wonders, did he obtain a firearm while living in the Land of Lincoln?

Let’s hope everyone except the shooter is OK. Fortunately, so far, they’re all alive, and the shooter is dead.
