Chicago Torture Victim Keeps Asking Why His Friend Would Do This To Him

If you thought the Chicago torture story wasn’t bad enough, add this heartbreaker

(UK Daily Mail) The aunt of a special needs teenager who was tortured for hours by four friends has told DailyMail.com that he was unable to speak about the attack – other than to repeatedly ask why a friend he idolized had done this to him.

Janet Grant said her 18-year-old nephew, would be mentally scarred by the six-hour ordeal where he was bound, beaten, cut, burned and forced to drink from a toilet.

Brittany Covington, 18; her sister Tanisha Covington, 24; Tesfaye Cooper, 18; and Jordan Hill, 18, have been charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated unlawful restraint, aggravated battery and a hate crime. Hill attended school with [the victim] for several years.

Speaking on Friday morning Grant said: ‘[The victim] just keeps saying, ‘Why, why? Jordan was my friend. He’s been my friend for a couple of years.’

She continued: ‘They went to school together, they both had problems. He adores Jordan. I don’t know Jordan but [the victim] really liked him. It’s one thing if they didn’t know each other but [the victim] idolized him.’ (snip)

‘He’s got enough problems already. They put cigarette butts out on his head, cut a hole in his scalp. Once they took him to Chicago, he had no meds for four days. He couldn’t even fight back.

‘Physically he’ll heal but mentally…he’ll always be looking over his shoulder. Probably won’t trust anybody. ‘

Stick the animals in jail for a long, long time, away from civilized society.

Good. Throw the book at the pieces of shit.

Isn’t it amazing, Jeffery, the lack of humanity sometimes displayed by humanity? Is this really the way these people were raised by their families, schools and churches? We must be missing something Jeffery, we would never have dreamt of doing something like that at their age. What went wrong? What went wrong!?

    Hoagie,

I wish I knew. There have always been sociopaths without conscience, without a trace of empathy. It’s thought sociopathy arises from environmental and social influences on a genetically susceptible background. What internal hatred and lack of humanity drives animals like ISIS, Dylann Roof, and Adam Lanza?

Jeffery, I know there has always been these types but it seems so prevalent in modern America. Especially the big cities. Can anything be done to rebuild the American family and instill the traditional moral code of treating others the way we want to be treated? Seems so many of the young are thoroughly lost.

    Hoagie,

The homicide rate in the US has dropped steadily over the past 30 years or so and less than half what it was in the early 80s. The rate has not been this low since I was a child in the 1950s.

There have always been individuals who did not abide by the Golden Rule moral code, but certainly young Americans have less hope now than decades ago. We’re in the midst of a drug epidemic in rural America and a violence epidemic (also drug fueled) in some American cities. It could be the problems that afflict the working classes (underemployment, unemployment, stagnant wages, loss of the American dream) are multiplied on youth. People who perceive they have little hope have little to lose. Fixing that problem was why both Obama and Trump got elected. I’m not sure DC has the capacity to make the right choices.

    Hoagie,

Here’s another example of feral animals abusing a mentally handicapped young man:

    This in a small town…

I don’t recall seeing coverage of this when it happened, possibly because these animals didn’t videotape themselves.

    Thank Obama.

If Donald Trump wants to make schools safe again, he must rescind the Obama administration’s diktats regarding classroom discipline, which are based on a fantasy version of reality that is having serious real-world consequences.
