Obama Expects US-ISRAEL Relations To Get Better Because Of Th3 Iran Deal

Well, on one hand, he’s right: if a Republican wins, they will toast the deal and make our relations better, which won’t be that hard after Obama has destroyed that relationship

(AP) President Barack Obama on Friday compared tensions between the U.S. and Israel over the Iranian nuclear deal to a family feud and said he expects quick improvements in ties between the longtime allies once the accord is implemented.

“Like all families, sometimes there are going to be disagreements,” Obama said in a webcast with Jewish Americans. “And sometimes people get angrier about disagreements in families than with folks that aren’t family.”

Yeah, it’s just like that. If one family member is making a deal with an outside party that wants to kill the other family member.

The president encouraged skeptics of the agreement to “overcome the emotions” that have infused the debate and evaluate the accord based on facts.

“I would suggest that in terms of the tone of this debate everybody keep in mind that we’re all pro-Israel,” he said. “We have to make sure that we don’t impugn people’s motives.”

This is the same guy who’s said it’s either this agreement or war, deeming those same skeptics warmongers. He’s claimed that those who are against this deal are making “common cause” with the Iranian regime. Pot. Kettle.

Oops, that pot kettle thing is probably raaaaacist.

Well, what did you expect him to say, that the deal would make our relations worse?

It’s like anything else Barack Hussein Obama says: if he tells me that 2 + 2 = 4, I’m going to check the math myself.

Just when I thought he couldn’t say anything dumber…..

American Jews are quite strong in their support for the Iran Agreement
    http://forward.com/news/breaking-news/318263/polls-showing-jewish-support-for-iran-deal-more-credible/
In Israel polls show as high as 78% are against 22% for HOWEVER that poll is only for Jewish Israelis. SInce about 25% of the people actually living in Israel (of course not including the so called “occupied” terrotories) are Arabs if we were to add those 25% plus the 22% of Jewish Israelis who approve of the agreement we would have 47% in favor 53% against the agreement.

What a shock. john posts an article from a liberal socialist site that dismiss polls that show a lack of support for the agreement and uplifts the polls that favor the agreement.

John- back here on earth it doesn’t matter what American Jews think, now does it? Has Iran pledged to exterminate American Jews? Just when I think no one could say anything dumber than Obama, along comes….

    gitar,

You may have inadvertently misinterpreted the article that john posted. The author took to task three polls – two that showed support for the Iran agreement and one that showed opposition. Of the three polls, the author concluded only one was methodologically sound. The one poll showing opposition and one of the favorable polls were unsound.

Interestingly, the CNN poll the author talked about, had an interesting result:

    http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/20/politics/iran-cnn-orc-poll-full-results/index.html

50% of Americans favored the agreement and 46% opposed, yet in a separate question 56% wanted Congress to reject it.

Of course the media only reported the opposition result, burying the favorable result. Strange, huh?

    Jeffery,

To put it in language that you have used, the odious Forward site has a bias that is so far left leaning that only an mental midget would accept anything they publish.

  8. Jeffery says:

Do you find The Forward less accurate than far-right sites?

  9. gitarcarver says:

Do you find that the Forward is a far left, site with a Socialist agenda and therefore should be dismissed just as you try to dismiss sites that you feel are “far right?”
