It was -103F in Antarctica today, yet we are told that somehow it’s ice is melting away. Even though its sea ice extent is at a record high, which is confusing. I don’t have a physics degree (although I got close), but it’s hard to see how it can all melt away when it is so damn cold. Maybe the ice sublimes away into the atmosphere?
