This picture of Olympic athlete Claire Bidez is very topical. This was taken for SI at Whistler, an icon of the emotional silliness that fuels the AGW movement. Remember how the teary-eyed David Suzuki “watched in horror as the snow has just melted away from Cypress Mountain,†referring to the coastal 2010 Olympic Games snowboarding and freestyle skiing venue. LOL. Alarmists like Suzuki blamed global warming on the lack of snow on one mountain, ignoring the obvious El Nino that was taking place, and ignoring the ample snow on the other Olympic ski venues such as Whistler, which had already had over 1000cm of snow at the time.
