Don’t bet on it
(The Blaze) White House spokesman Josh Earnest couldn’t provide a direct answer when asked by a reporter on Friday if President Barack Obama would “apologize†to conservative groups who were unfairly targeted by the IRS.
Rather than saying the president is sorry or planned to apologize, Earnest said Obama was “troubled†by the IRS targeting scandal that “apparently occurred.â€
“What the president has said, is he is troubled by the wrongdoing that apparently occurred at the IRS,†he said. “And he is committed that we get to the bottom of what exactly happened and make sure we have safeguards in place to prevent those kinds of things from happening again.â€
If he had any thoughts of apologizing for the flagrant Constitutional violations, not too mention possible civil and criminal violations, by an agency and its employees who work for him, well, he’d have to apologize for his own words that helped create the situation. His constant attacks on Conservative groups, his denigration of them (calling TEA Party members “Teabaggers”), whining about the Citizens United decision, all these and others certainly gave IRS employees the notion that it was OK with The Boss to target Conservative groups.
And let’s not forget that some groups, such as True The Vote, saw their groups and unrelated businesses targeted by the FBI, ATF, and OSHA, among others.
But, hey, the spokesweasel says that Obama says anyone involved will be “held accountable”. Perhaps with a frown and a wagging finger.
The federal government did exactly what Obama and the rest of the Democrats wanted, supress the conservative vote. After the shellacking they took in 2010 Democrats knew they had to find a way to prevent a repeat in 2012 which could cost them the Senate and even the White House.
Liberals accuse the GOP of suppressing the minority vote and have used the Voting Rights Act to limit any changes states make to voting districts. The Voting Rights Act was passed after states controlled by Democrats used Poll Taxes or other methods to suppress blacks and other minorties from voting. They have continued their corrupt ways with the voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia in 2008 and by using the IRS and DOJ in 2012.
Demo-liberals can only win by cheating. but since they have no morals or ethics, they consider it winning by other means. Their intentions are Good and therefor deserve to win.
The faux outrage by the Obwon is just another way to cheat/lie/steal. If he did not want such activity that would be plain from his leadership style and speeches. It is plain, however, to everyone in the IRS, DOJ, Fast and furious, Dept of Ag, Dept of Energy, EPA, Home land Security, FBI, etc. that supresion of conservatives is wanted and is approved of by the president.
Conservatives just whine and play the victim card. They used to be the tough guys in politics, but just listen to them now. The Director of the IRS when this happened was appointed by Bush. The Head of the Tax Exempt Division when this happened was appointed by Bush. Obviously Obama is to blame ?
John doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand that hatred of corruption doesn’t know political bounds or parties. If republicans were involved, then they too should be held accountable. But right now, it is the democrats in charge, and the democrats are the corruption. And, it is the democrats and john that are trying to defend the illegalities and corruption.

So, if I understand you, knowing that Bush was a liberal, he appointed liberals into positions of responsibilty that were used by the Obama administration to suppress conservative votes. And, instead of crying about the situation, we should begin the next part of the scenerio that occurs as a consequence of the breakdown of our society and start the civil war the is known to be coming.
I was at a cafe in my town yesterday that overheard people at other tables talking about the coming revolution, so, thanks john and your bunch for starting the destruction of our country.
Cut the crap, John! If this was done by the GOP under Bush, then why is EVERY SINGLE GROUP targeted by the IRS right wing, Conservative, TEA Party, Christian, Jewish, or pro-Constitution? Explain THAT, please.
And while you’re at it, Can we add freedom of press to the things that Democrats were once for and are now against too?

Obama, since taking office has been involved in Benghazi, IRS, EPA, DOJ, Fast and Furious – and don’t even get me started on the gas/food/ prices skyrocketing, record deficits, record unemployment, record bank failures, record foreclosures, record number of months unemployment above 8%, record death toll of US troops in Afghanistan, record number of golf games, no current jobs plan, US troops deployed in at least 12 MENA and central African countries, secret involvement in Syrian war, Solyndra, debt to GDP ratio 103%, over half the United States sued to get out of Obamacare, record number of unelected, unaccountable czars, lobbyists still running the White House, secret meetings in cafes offsite of the White House to avoid having to tell who they’re meeting, Michelle Obama with over forty personal assistants, Obama lost over 600 seats for the Democrats in the 2010 elections…
And just wait till your vaunted Obamacare goes full steam next year. God help us all.
