Nope, sorry Teach. But your non-scary .223 is also scary. It has a detachable magazine. Thus, it is now illegal in NY. Several senate bills also outlaw all guns with removable magazines.

To a liberal all guns are scary, unless they are used to protect them.

    GEEEEZZZ…
Leave it to the media to turn an accident in to an anti-gun, pro- gun control hack piece.

“Three people including a retired sheriff’s deputy were wounded on Saturday at a gun show in North Carolina when a 12-gauge shotgun accidentally discharged as its owner was taking it out of its case, state officials said. The incident comes as the country debates gun control and the rights of gun owners after a man armed with an assault rifle killed 20 first graders and six adults last month at an elementary school in Connecticut – the deadliest of a string of U.S. shooting sprees last year”

love the mention and the complete slight of “country debates the rights of gun owners“. Such peddly minor things to have to suffer through debates.

    Looking at that pic again…
8 bullets = mass murder and unbearable violence
7 bullets = completely safe, legal, legally acceptable form of expression.

And of course, he didn’t shoot anyone with an “assault rifle,” which by definition is capable of full auto fire.

Either by ignorance or design, the left and anti 2nd Amendment folks want the distinction between “assault weapon” and “assault rifle” to disappear. That way they can make legal weapons the same as illegal weapons.

  7. Yeah, that gun show is in my town. It does show that some people are kinda too stupid to have a gun, since the jackass brought it loaded.

Even cops shoot themselves or others accidentally.
How many stories do we hear about guns that were to be cleaned are shot off accidentally.

If we are to move in to the next eon, we need to aggressively and actively support a gun awareness, gun training, and gun safety programs.

Make people aware that guns are around. Guns are dangerous. Guns should be respected, cleaned, and are nothing to be feared.

We can’t just say, accept our guns, so there!. And we also can’t accept, no guns allowed. And if we are truthful, we must realize there are people that with a little training, more people will accept training and be safer with them.

congratulations Teach. First at the line:

The Tenth Amendment Center reports that Beaufort County, NC has passed a resolution calling for the nullification of federal restrictions on the Second Amendment. Beaufort became “first in the nation” in a movement that has picked up significant steam across the nation to push back against creeping federal tyranny. The resolution reads, in part:

The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners calls upon the Governor and General Assembly of the State of North Carolina to immediately pass an act to nullify the implementation within the State of North Carolina of any Federal law, executive order or regulations restricting the right to keep and bear arms
