Team Obama Tries New Spin On Benghazi Attacks

Now they’re trying to say that they always considered it a terror attack

(Daily Caller) White House officials are now insisting that President Barack Obama has always treated the Sept. 11 strike in Benghazi, Libya as a terrorist attack by jihadis.

“Well, first of all, Candy, as you know, the president called it an act of terror the day after it happened,” President Barack Obama’s chief campaign strategist David Axelrod told CNN’s Candy Crowley Sept. 30.

The new pitch is the administration’s third effort to spin the shocking Sept. 11 attack, threatening to discredit President Barack Obama’s campaign-trail claim to foreign policy competence.

Yet, most of the time the attack was labeled as a spontaneous protest that got out of control because of some dumb video which no one had seen. Up until evidence started coming out that the spin was a load of mule fritters, then the White House had to change their tune, instead of being forthright and honest from the beginning. Obama kept with his talking point about this being a spontaneous attack over the video during his United Nations apology tour speech.

The day after the attack, Obama spoke in the Rose Garden in ambiguous terms that did not include explicitly labeling it as a jihadi or terrorist attack.

“The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack,” Obama said.

“Yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks [in 2001] … And then last night, we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi. … No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation [or] alter that character.”

That statement can be read as an acknowledgement that the Benghazi attack was a terror strike, just as the 9/11 terror attack was.

It could, but the administration decided not to go with that POV, quite possibly because they realized that it would look bad considering that the State Department did nothing to address the security concerns at the Benghazi embassy in one of the most dangerous parts of the world. They really are the gang that can’t shoot straight, turning what would have been a coming together moment into a potential scandal.

Meanwhile, a Catholic Bishop has offer a $200,000 bounty for the head of the “artist” that made “Piss Christ”. Oh, wait, sorry, my mistake, that would be a Pakistan ex-minister offering the bounty for the head of the Mohammed video maker. Fortunately, the US media has made it very easy to find him.

He can say whatever he wants, now. The simple fact of the matter is that the press will (at all costs, including their portfolio) protect him, lie for him, sweep up after him, and get agressive for him.

Half the country understands this and it angers/frustrates them but holds little redress. The other half of the country supports it…happily.

Start putting counter-offers on these “ministers”. And similar for the Imams that preach jihad. $50k per head, no questions asked.

  3. It’s disgusting that they do that, Orson. They’ve gone from bias to straight advocacy.

    Not a bad idea, Mojo.

And this traitorous administration still has yet to call it an assassination. Or a murder. Terror attack has become overused to be bland. It was a terror attack. It was a terror attack by Afghani traitors on a full American convoy. It was just a terror attack that caused several dozen people to die in a Colorado theater.

We need to institute a CHIJAD. Christian Jihad. God is not opposed to the state using war to wipe out his enemies.

Team Obama is doing very well in all the polls.

Hey Teach, do you know what is funny about these polls? Only those who want to respond do, they don’t allow for polling of non-respondents, and only those who have home landline phones and are home during the day are eligible for polling.

Funny that. Might explain why most of those polled are Dems.
