I hope you’re not right about the lack of warming lasting till about 2020. I’d rather hoped to see the earlier Met Office press release with Doug’s paper that said something like – half the years to 2014 would exceed the warmest year currently on record, 1998! Still a way to go before 2014.I seem to be getting an email a week from skeptics saying where’s the warming gone. I know the warming is on the decadal
scale, but it would be nice to wear their smug grins away.
Because a lack of warming would be a) bad for funding, and b) bad for the cult.
Jones is such a slime.
I’ve seen forecasts by Russian scientists that, based on a perceived 60-year natural cycle (30 up, 30 down) we’re in for cooling to somewhere between 2030 and 2040.
One of the few cases I’d actually trust the Russians.
I’m wondering how these so called climate scientists will figure out a way to blame the cooling on greenhouse gases, in order to keep the money trains going.
On a related note, water will still be wet in 2020…

I’ve been hearing the alarmist crap for decades. Most animals would be extinct by now, we’d be living in domed cities, we’d have no resources left, the population would be too large for the world to support, the sea levels would wash away cities, there would be global warming/cooling.
NONE of this has come true. Not one absurd prediction. And this ass Phil Jones wants to keep arguing this nonsense?
Predictions are just that… PREDICTIONS.
They are not facts … they may or may not ever happen.
WHY EXPECT THEM TO HAPPEN 100% ?
Ignore facts….because YOU have a problem understanding probability and the scientific method of LEARNiNG.
Ignore the facts….
Ice sheets are melting faster.
Global temperatures have risen.
Humans CREATE and fill the atmosphere full of gases.
Predictions are based on probability..
Now…if the ice caps are melting more.. year on year.. The probability of flooding is greater.
So predicting flooding is a LOGICAL prediction based on the fact of mass amounts of frozen water being introduced into the ocean.
The FACT’s lead to an alarming conclusion.
That conclusion MAY BE WRONG… but the probability of the conclusion is STATED. ( that’s the scientific way)
Science is just a method of learning more by methodical data capture.
Predictions are then based on PROBABILITY.
There can be numerous “probable” predictions.
So denying that global warming exists is wrong…
Facts prove that.
We can argue over predictions …. they are based on probability.
But you can not argue against a FACT.
( you can if you ignore the facts like a moron )

We aren’t denying that the world has warmed, just like it has done multiple times during this interglaciation period. We are saying that man has little to no responsibility for it.
Why is it that most Warmists fail to live the lives they say everyone else should live? Why do the so called climate scientists refuse to show their data (which is gathered on the public dime)? Why do they hide their work? Why do they fight FOIA requests? Why do they delete their correspondence?
Oh, and why has there been a lack of warming for 10+ years, and even a decline in temps, despite increasing CO2 levels?
I guess troll did not read what the e-mail to Phil Jones said? No warming has occured and it’s predicted to happen in 2020.
Global warming= corrupted science used to enhance government.
