Senator Thune On The Best Way To Meet With Obama

Could the GOP finally have gotten the clue, after Obama’s snit fit acting like a 5 year old not allowed to get a new My Little Unicorn presser, that it is time to take the gloves off?

One of the Senate’s top Republicans on Thursday fired back at President Obama for questioning his party’s work ethic, suggesting that the president should spend less time on the golf course.

“I think the best way to get an appointment with the president is to set up a tee time,” Sen. John Thune (S.D.), the chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee, told Fox News.

Anyone know the Vegas line for Obama playing golf this weekend? How about the line for him playing golf on July 4th, his daughter’s birthday?

Thune’s retort came after Obama reamed out Congress for its recess schedule at a news conference on Wednesday, saying that he’s ready to get a deal done on deficit reduction and raising the nation’s debt ceiling.

Last time I checked, the GOP only controlled the House. Democrats control the Senate (no, really. I’m totally telling you the truth, Liberals. Seriously. Look it up. They’ve controlled the Senate since January, 2007. No, I didn’t edit the Wikipedia page)

Anyhow, after giving up his job as POTUS and taking the reigns from Debs Wasserman Schultz for the DNC, and telling Congress they need to get to work….

Later in the afternoon, the President will travel to Philadelphia, PA. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at Philadelphia International Airport are open press.

Later, the President will deliver remarks at a DNC event at the Hyatt at the Bellevue. This event is pooled for TV and open to pre-credentialed still photographers and correspondents.

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a DNC event at a private residence. This event is print pool only for remarks.

Yeah, that was part of Obama’s official schedule for June 30th.

I’m writing this at night on the 30th for a morning post. Hopefully, Lynn Sweet will have Obama’s Friday and Weekend schedule up early, so we can see just how much Obama is not going to do. I’ll give him the 4th off, though, due to being Independence Day (all that Red, White and Blue must drive liberals nuts) and his daughters birthday.

Well, well, well, Obama is going to spend a few hours meeting with advisors, then, it is off to Camp David at 430pm. No scheduled events through the 4th.

Well, he can take the 4th of July off even though I am not sure that he knows what it means.

The amazing thing is that the Congress is sitting there and has canceled their July 4th recess and Obama won’t meet with them.

Yesterday Obama’s White House spokesman spent a good portion of the time in the press conference saying why Obama wouldn’t meet with Republicans on the budget issue while Obama was out saying they needed to meet with him.

And the media on this obvious hypocrisy?

    insert chirping crickets here.

Obama is doing what he does best – campaign. Unfortunately, he is not doing what the country needs the most – which is to lead.

He is simply incapable of it.

Recall, he chastised those who said that he should get involved. He stated that he has already met with Congress (Dems and socialist groups) thus he does not need to be bothered any more.

This man is a complete and utter loser. I used to think he was smart and this was his plan and ruination was just a byproduct.

But now, I think he just has no simple clue as to what he is doing and ruination is the byproduct.

He has this idea of socialism, but can’t even be bothered with that much work. This …. person …. will go down in the annuls of worst people in history – far greater and deeper loser than Carter or that dude president that caused us to get in and stay in the Great Depression.

Oh wait.. that was NMP Obama too.

It was interesting that the editor of Time called our great leader a “dick”. Then had to immediately apoligize. He has also been booted off MSNBC. Now dick might not be the proper Queen’s english for this leader of ours, but it does seem to sum up the thoughts of millions as we watch him destroy our culture and economy. As a consequence of this, I am considering subscribing to Time. The press is acting as if this is a one time occurence and a horrible thing to have happened. I do know that a friend of mine had inner access to cabinet meetings during the Clinton years and that Ms. Clinton would attend and preside over them. Her expression for Clinton in the meetings was “dickhead”. So this must be a common reference for incompetent presidents.
