Poster Child For Why We Need To Shut Down The Borders

A more than disturbing report from the State of Washington

The KING 5 Investigators have learned that an illegal immigrant accused of raping a woman in Edmonds Sunday has been deported nine times. That’s much more than previously reported.

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement won’t comment on the case of Jose Lopez Madrigal. But KING 5 got the information through confidential sources and documents.

His record goes back to 1989, and Madrigal, an illegal from Mexico, has been busted for theft of a firearm, sexual assault, and drug dealing multiple times. He has over 30 aliases. He was deported three times between April and August 1999.

One criminal justice source says Madrigal is a “poster boy” for the federal governments ineffectiveness at keeping the most serious “criminal aliens” – illegals who commit crimes – out of the  United States.

Which is why we need to lock down the border and do away with “catch and release while awaiting a hearing.”

Jammie Wearing Fool:

Maybe the next time this guy sneaks back into the country the Democrats can have him up to the House floor to lecture us on our laws.

Elected Republicans, including Bush, deserve a lot of blame, too.

    Nice one Jammie!!
You know, he is just hear to make a better life for him and himself. He needs to just pay a simple fine and allowed to stay here as just one of another America’s necessary immigrants.

  2. Lee Thomas says:

In 2005, the United States Supreme Court held, in Muehler v. Mena, 544 U.S. 93, that police officers who handcuffed a gang member while they executed a search warrant for weapons, did not violate her rights by questioning her about her immigration status. The Court explained, “[E]ven when officers have no basis for suspecting a particular individual, they may generally ask questions of that individual; ask to examine the individual’s identification; and request consent to search his or her luggage.”

Maybe every time we deport one of these guys we can get a DNA sample as a going away present?
