Remember when Obama and the left would make our relations with the world all rainbows and unicorn poots? Well, how’s that working out?
Washington refused to endorse British claims to sovereignty over the Falkland Islands yesterday as the diplomatic row over oil drilling in the South Atlantic intensified in London, Buenos Aires and at the UN.
Despite Britain’s close alliance with the US, the Obama Administration is determined not to be drawn into the issue. It has also declined to back Britain’s claim that oil exploration near the islands is sanctioned by international law, saying that the dispute is strictly a bilateral issue.
So, once again, the Obama admin. hosed our closest world ally, something he has done several times, both to the country (bust of Winston Churchill), it’s press (during Gordon Brown’s first visit), Prime Minister Brown and his wife (crappy, cheap gifts), and The Queen (an iPod full of narcissistic photos and vids of Obama). He loves overtures to our enemies, but, any ally? Forgetaboutit!
How do you get any work done? You’re too busy hating Obama all day every day. lol.
The english and all the other Euros approve of Obama a lot more than the last fellow we elected. Everyone knows that, apparently except you. The English are only about 1/2 a step away from convicting Tony Blair for invading Iraq.
Funny how neither of you are able to respond on point. Why is that? Have you finally realized that Obama is an idiot, but that you still have to protect him for partisan purposes?
