I understand that that Chief May is investigating all those threats, too (via WXII TV report). Must be real slow for LE activities in King, what with the emergency over and all.

Of course, I suspect that those “hundreds of threats” were probably mostly emails asking “How dare you?” and very few like “I’m going to kill you”.

So they want to keep people from buying or carrying their guns…because they’re afraid people might want to shoot at snowflakes? How the heck do they make the weather into a gun issue??

THIS JUST IN! NC legislature has determined that cigarettes are bad for you, so they will be instituting an emergency ban on toupees. In a totally related story, to combat the high prices at the gas pump, a new bill is being introduced to encourage pet owners to spay and neuter their pets.
