Dems Look To Finalize Health Bill In Secret

Shocking, eh?

Democratic leaders are looking to forgo a formal, public conference to merge the House and Senate’s health care overhaul bills, giving Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the White House free rein to hammer out the final measure behind closed doors and thwart Republican efforts to stymie it.

Not just Republicans, but, elected Democrats and, oh, hey, the American People will be shut out of it, just like has been going on since this show began its run early in 2009. It’s about ramming through legislation that the American People hate, without giving them a say, without any consideration of what the American People want, so that Dems can give the federal government enormous power over people’s lives. Why? Payoffs. We’ve seen it time and time again. People vote for politicians and Party’s that give them (X). Republicans give the people freedom to be responsible and make their own choices. Democrats give them “free” medicine and act like Mom and Dad. Schools teach kids to be good sheeple.

The maneuver gives Democratic leaders the ability to quickly work through hundreds of differences between the 2,000-page bills and to keep control over the deals they will need to make on politically touchy topics such as abortion, taxes and Medicare cuts.

No matter what The People think, taxes will be going way up, abortion will be federally funded, insurance companies (those that survive) will be forced to cover them, and Medicare will be the first to be denied medical procedures. In a Worker’s Paradise, the old and retired are not productive members of the collective, so, why provide great service to them?

“Harry Reid’s continued efforts to throw transparency out the window and shut out the American people on a bill that will affect one-sixth of America’s economy is an outrage,” said Brian Walsh, spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. “It’s clear his past statements about supporting transparency were nothing but lip service by a professional politician who has lost touch with the voters who sent him to Washington.”

What are you going to do about, Mr. Walsh? Perhaps it is high time that the elected Republicans get their butts out their on the front lines and start slamming the Democrats, play the Democrats game, and stop caving when the Democrats and their compliant media say Republicans are being mean, playing in the mud, etc. When Republicans are accused of being mean and stuff, Republicans need to attack back, and show how Dems have been doing it. Stop taking the high road. America is at stake.

Let’s not forget Reid’s little addendum to this bill, to force a super-majority vote to get rid of it, for when (NOT IF) it turns out to be an even bigger and more worthless drain on our economy than the current system.

This also makes it harder for candidates to run on a Repeal These Godawful Bills campaign, which would pretty well guarantee election for damn near anyone.

I’m hoping some brave Americans, and our elected Republicans, will challenge the legislation in court if it passes. We shall see.

AH! I finally figured it out! They’re so transparent, they’re invisible!

So you can’t see them.
