Many commenters (read the comments at Gateway) who have lived in Japan say the bow he makes is as one who is making deep apologies to a clear Superior. Now he just needs to make that same bow 300 million more times, back home in the US. Less members of congress and those who actually voted for him (remember, the actual number of people who voted for him is only a percentage of a percentage of the entire population.)
