Doing this a couple blocks from the former site of the WTC smacks of photo ops and grandstanding, but will lead to extra years of appeals because there is no possible way for them to get fair trials. Granted, it would be tough anywhere, but certainly worse in NYC. If it has to be done, do it elsewhere, like Kansas.
