As a way of comparison Bush generally had about a disproval rating from Rasmussen that was about 10 times as high around -30 http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/political_updates/president_bush_job_approvalhttp://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

Yes that trend DOES appear to be continuing. Rasmussen's Monday shows a further drop of one more point to -3. Which is a 6 point gain for him since hos speech. Overall his approval rating is 52% with a disproval rate of 48% These are just about the same as the popular vote last Nov. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll
Of course Rasmussen is just one poll, and he seemed to be pretty partisan one year ago when he was in September the ONLY poll to say that McCain was going to win the popular vote.
