Look, a lot of companies are going to flex insurance. My company has it for non-bargained, and is moving the bargained into the same. Essentially, the way it works is thus: nothing comes out of my paycheck, except for any money I want to a health savings account. I am responsible for paying the first $1,100. Once I hit that level, copays kick in. This is for everything other then dental and vision.

So, if I go to a doctor, I pay it all, just like in the olden days, till I hit $1,100. So, I learned to go to a great family care place if I need to, and use WalMart or Target for prescription meds. Know what? I do not need insurance to go to the doctor or for the meds.

As far as the “wealthy,” I am concerned with the small business owners. Aren’t you? And, guess what? When the politicians realize they can’t get money from that stone, they will start lowering the bar.
