Teach if Obama was going to CUT the support for corn based ethanol by say let's just some figure THREE BILLION DOLLARS would that make you happy ??? ? http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-corn-ethanol6-2009may06,0,2321568.story
UNICORNS FOR ALL !!
Jim oil shale is not easy to work with, it creates large amounts of waste including waste water Water is already scarce in the areas o where shale oil is present. Colorado and Wyoming It also requires HUGE capital investment becaus eof these and other problems the oil market is not ready to risk investment in shale oil that could cost 100 bl.
If you think that oil shale is viable then there are MANY ways and places to invest in this.
Most consider Unicorn breeding to be safer.

But the Senate and House are full of oily Democrats. Well, and oily Republicans.

Oh, nevermind. As long as government is involved, it won't work. I'll just shut up and go read the new Zelazny book.

Pretty much because it has the word "oil" in it, and the extreme environmentalists thing the environment will get destroyed, despite all evidence to the contrary.

I still don't get why oil shale is so evil. It takes a lot of energy to make it, but once you get started, it's self-perpetuating. And it tends to leave the ground in better shape then when you started. Maybe it's too BIG OIL to be valid.

Wait, I just saw a unicorn. Let me go collect a fart, I think it'll run my Subaru for a year.
