John, as far as the WMD goes, we were assured by multiple intelligence services from around the world, as well as plenty of Democrats, including previous dem candidate John Kerry and current Sec of State Hillary Clinton, not to mention president Clinton. How about that?

And, no, I do not feel silly using the euphemism, because that is what they are called, and I do not consider them torture.

"When there is a scandal with the Dems like with Blago the Dems do not support him."

That's a joke right? You must be going for the comedic value here.

Teach don't you feel a bit silly using the euphemism "enhanced interrogations" why not just man up and call it what it was. Even the leader of the House Minority says that word, TORTURE http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2009/04/23/boehner-says-the-t-word/
Teach the Republicans better get out in front on this. Teach also can you see how much more party "loyalty" there is with the GOP ? When there is a scandal with the Dems like with Blago the Dems do not support him. None of the Dems called Fitzpatrick a "rogue" prosecutor when he nailed Blago like the GOP did with Scooter Libby. This torture is going to stay in the headlines, the GOP better start doing the right thing here

Teach I have no problem with having a full investigation including which members of Congress were briefed. My understanding is that when briefed on classified information that no public discussion is then allowed. However the Republicans are in a very bad position on torture and failure to support what the American people want will again cost them seats and votes in 2010. When Fox News starts dropping the F-Bombs on torture you KNOW that things are coming to a head and ready to pop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG2VF4a0LWs
As for "torture works" let's take a look at the accuracy of what Cheney has said in the past. Remember the WMD ? I do. The american people were ASSURED that this was the truth by the same sources that now say that torture works.
As for you "it's a shame that...." you are damn right it is a shame for the United States of America
