So you are planning acts of violence on the government? Traitor.

    • maurice cheeks says:

yes this is treason. these people should move to another country. you are not americans, you dont know what it means to be an american, you dont deserve to be called an american. get out of my country now. we are ready for war. lets get it on! you lost. you suck. obama is the best president this country has ever had. slave trading scum. i hope you die a slow painful death, if you believe this tax tea day b.s.
it is working, obama’s plan is already working. this country isnt for you. try 1940’s germany, fascist pigs!

      • Josh says:

Why is it Liberals have to be so hateful? Obama is a socialist. His only concern is to take money from one person to give it to someone else. That is simply theft. He has spent more money in 86 days in office than Bush spent in 8 years at war. He claims tax cuts for the middle class but with the amount of debt he has already accrued and the fact that it will continue to grow there is no way those tax cuts will continue. We’ll all be taxed to death. Look to the European countries or our neigbor to the north. They are socialistic in nature and they are taxed to death. That fact that someone is claiming to be right wing extremist shouldnt be a surprise. The government has labeled anyone that disagrees with their policies as an extremist. We’re not the facists or the commies here. Just Americans that believe in what America was founded on. Read the constitution and read what the founding fathers believed. They were scared to death of overbearing big government, and that is exactly what Obama is working toward. How do we pay for this debt? I dont want my children paying for it. Perhaps you do though.

        • Ogre says:

What’s that, Josh? You like the Constitution? You’re a right-wing extremist that has terrorist tendencies that should be watched by this government.

I honestly wish I was kidding.

  3. Reasic says:

You might as well take down any patriotic messages or symbols on your blog too. You can’t have both. If you really claim to be what the government report calls an extremist, then you are not patriotic.

  4. You don’t get it and your hard left propaganda and viewpoint will never let you get it.

Do me a favor: substitute Bush for Obama, and Left for Right. Then consider how badly you and the rest on the left would freak out. I know it is difficult for liberals to have an honest dialogue, even internally, but, give it a shot.

  5. John Ryan says:

Are you planning on joining Stormfront or any of the militias ?

  6. Big Dog says:

The issue is not what the government calls extreme because the words they use could apply to anyone. The issue is that a government agency has used politics to depict a segment of our society, with whom it disagrees, as extremist.

Many of the instances cited in the report are derived from idle speculation and they focus on the Oklahoma City bombing which was the work of a few deranged people.

The same government that tells us the 9/11 terrorists do not represent Islam are telling us that McVeigh represents all people on the right.

It is nothing more than something designed to keep people in line.

    That will not happen.

    • tonym70809 says:

The DHS report attempts to associate conservatives with facists, and religious zealots. It also tries to wrap all vetrans into the mindset of timothy mcveigh. 99.99% of all vetrans are just patriots. Military forces are a true slice of the whole American pie. So yes a small fringe slip through and have crazy ideas just like all over America. To say that all vets and all conservatives are extremist because they do not agree with current policies is absurd. I fought in 3 wars and would do it again for my nation. I want secure boarders less government no more stimulus and lower taxes gee does that make me an extremist??

  7. Reasic says:

Do me a favor: substitute Bush for Obama, and Left for Right.

The DHS also produced a report on “leftwing extremists” in January. I didn’t hear anything about it, and certainly not any outrage, did you?

The issue is not what the government calls extreme because the words they use could apply to anyone.

No, Big Dog, the words they use clearly describe groups that are looking to arm themselves and commit acts of violence. The term “terrorist” was also used. Are you also a proud right wing terrorist?

It’s not the government’s fault that you can’t understand their report.

  8. Reasic says:

It also tries to wrap all vetrans into the mindset of timothy mcveigh.

What the hell are you talking about? The only mention of veterans I saw was that there was concern that some extremist groups might try to recruit them for their weapons training. Are you even reading the same report?!

Please provide a quote, in context, which supports this assertion.

  10. tonym70809 says:

I understand their report clearly. I also understand the terrorism I have stood against them in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have also seen the kill women and children and blame it on US troops. I am also well trained in the use of propoganda and recognize it when I see it. That report sites Tim McVeigh and Oklahoma City as its only source to include vetrans. Thats wrong give real incidents that lead them to believe that Vetrans are involved in any insurgent activity in the USA.

  11. Reasic says:

Please give a quote from the report, which “tries to wrap veterans into the mindset of timothy mcveigh”.

  12. Ogre says:

Wow. I’m honestly surprised I haven’t been jailed yet by these thugs pretending to be the department of homeland security.

You see, I’m a veteran. I support people’s right to life (I oppose abortion). I support the unique American culture (I oppose unchecked illegal immigration). I support freedom (I oppose government). I support the Constitution (I support states’ rights over federal rights). I own guns.

I meet the criteria of every single one of those things that the says is bad in America today. I honestly don’t understand why I’m not in jail. I’m obviously a terrorist, according to the government.

Maybe we should start a new political party: Right Wing Extremists. We can support the Constitution and individual rights. We can support gun rights and oppose abortion. There’s no party that currently takes those positions, so we’d be uniquely positioned.

Oh wait, never mind, the government in North Carolina won’t let us form a party and put it on the ballot for people to vote on — that’s illegal here.

  13. Ogre says:

Oh, hey, I just went back and re-read the report. I’m also a right-wing terrorist because I oppose racism! Yes, the report actually says that if you oppose giving money to people based on their race, you are a right-wing terrorist extremist!

  14. Reasic says:

    Ogre,

I meet the criteria of every single one of those things that the says is bad in America today.

The report doesn’t say that any of those things you listed were “bad in America today”.

I’m obviously a terrorist, according to the government.

You claim to have read the report, but judging by your statements, you obviously didn’t understand it. The report didn’t use these positions that you hold to define a terrorist. It said that these are some of the hot button issues for right wing terrorists or extremists(defined as a group of people who are planning or seeking to plan acts of violence).

Quit being a doofus. No one thinks you’re a terrorist, unless you’re planning acts of violence. Got it?!

  15. Ogre says:

So, if you claim that the report doesn’t say those thing are bad, but those things are listed as terroristic, then you’re saying the terrorists are not bad?

And the report DOES strongly imply that I’m a terrorist. It’s very specific in claiming that the current danger from terrorists are “lone wolf” people who hold the views that I listed. It may not say the exact words, “Ogre is a terrorist,” but it does clearly say that anyone who holds those views IS to be considered dangerous by law enforcement because they hold the same views as terrorists and are highly likely to be terrorists. That’s what the report says, even if you don’t like what it says.

  16. American says:

Any damn issue on earth could be considered a “hot button issue” for extremism. What kind of joke is that? That report is our current administrations attempt at demonizing anyone that disagrees with their policies. So I guess that makes me one too. Welcome to the club Ogre and tonym70809, William Teach and Big Dog and everyone else that opposes this current administration and their Socialistic agenda.

    • Ogre says:

      Bingo. You win.

Oppose ANYTHING this administration does, and you’re an enemy — and now, likely to be jailed.

  17. Proud American says:

All of you people who are protesting taxes and the stimulus to save this country’s economy need to realize that it was the idiot George Bush, the uber-idiot Dick Cheney, and their band of morons who got our country in this mess in the first place. Wake up, grow up, or GET OUT!!!

    • Ogre says:

I’m sorry, “Proud American” (communist) — what part of this report listed Bush or Cheney? What part of this report that claims that people who support life are likely terrorists was done by Bush again?

      News flash: Bush isn’t president.

  18. DEmetria says:

So, where were all the tea idiots when bush was spending you into bankruptcy because of the lie of the war in Iraq? Where were you morons then? Now that we finally have some intelligence you are lead about by the nose by the big whale rush who does your thinking. Pathetic. I see where Texas wants to secede. Sounds good to me. They send us their village idiot, now they have him back so they can live life with the rest of the morons This is what happens to a country that spends billions on bombs and pennies on education. A nation of idiots who can’t think for themselves.

  19. Great discussion. Sorry I’ve been absent, training class all afternoon, Canes vs. Devils tonight, lots of beer. I’ll respond tomorrow.

What up, Ogre? How’s things going?

  20. Ogre says:

Heya Teach. Not much new, about the same. Not in jail yet.

  21. revolutionary86er says:

I agree with proud american in that obama is now labeling us the capitalist enemy. But what CLINTON, yes CLINTON did to the housing market is what we are seeing the reprocussions of in real estate. As far as banking, both bush and now obama because it’s HIS presidency not bush’s anymore, failed at proper regulation and oversight of wall street.
A big up to liberals like Reasic and DEmetria who play their part and pick apart sentences and phrases instead of the problems they’re meant to convey, Or they just rant like an angry teen…demetria. Do you see nothing wrong with the direction Mr. O is taking us? i’d love to hear the argument.

  22. Reasic says:

    Okay, 86er, I’ll bite:

But what CLINTON, yes CLINTON did to the housing market…

PLEASE tell me this isn’t the debunked CRA argument.

As far as banking, both bush and now obama because it’s HIS presidency not bush’s anymore, failed at proper regulation and oversight of wall street.

Um, the failure to regulate came during Bush’s Presidency. By the time Obama was President, the problem was already here. I’m confused at how you can blame Obama for lax regulation.

A big up to liberals like Reasic and DEmetria who play their part and pick apart sentences and phrases instead of the problems they’re meant to convey…

I single out specific sentences in order to address the argument presented, so we can all best follow the argument. This post was a manifestation of conservatives’ misinterpretation of the DHS report. The DHS report was not calling half the country extremists. It was assessing the risk that more Poplawskis might pop up. This is about individuals and groups, who happen to have rightwing ideas, but are also potential security threats. The DHS even published a similar report on “leftwing extremists” in January. This is a huge misunderstanding that was blown way out of proportion by people like Michelle Malkin, whose panties stay in a wad.

If you’re not considering starting a group that will commit acts of violence, then this report is not about you! Let’s move on.

    • Ogre says:

Sorry, Reasic, you cannot blame this report on Bush, even though you clearly blame him for, well, everything.

As for the report, you don’t understand it. The report is about singling out specific people and specific viewpoints that federal law enforcement has been told by their leader that the people who have those viewpoints ARE dangerous and ARE supposed to be considered suspects as they are inclined to be terrorists. That’s what the report says.

  23. Reasic says:

    You don’t get it.

I don’t get what? My point is that YOU don’t get it, “it” being the purpose of the DHS assessment. So what is it that I don’t get?

Sorry, Reasic, you cannot blame this report on Bush, even though you clearly blame him for, well, everything.

Um… can you show me where I blamed this report on Bush? I don’t remember saying that.

The report is about singling out specific people and specific viewpoints that federal law enforcement has been told by their leader that the people who have those viewpoints ARE dangerous and ARE supposed to be considered suspects as they are inclined to be terrorists. That’s what the report says.

NO!!! You have it backwards, Ogre! The report first warns about terrorists and extremists, and then details some of the viewpoints held by these groups. The viewpoints were not used to define the meaning of “extremist”. Besides, the DHS also published an assessment on “leftwing extremists” in January. This isn’t about you, unless you’re plotting acts of violence.

    • Ogre says:

Okay, I get it. You won’t admit the report says what it says. I just wonder if you only believe that the report is good because Obama is president.

Okay, I get it. You won’t admit the report says what it says. I just wonder if you only believe that the report is good because Obama is president.

Okay, it just says what it says, huh? Look, the government is not out to get you. You can take the tin foil hat off now. If you really think Obama had anything to do with this report, you really are a nut. The report is about violent extremists. It’s warning law enforcement about the possibility of more Poplawskis. If you don’t get it, then I don’t know what else to say. This is not about you. Get over yourself.
