AGW Today: Bad News And Turn Your Lights Off

Let’s start with the silly lights

Lights on the famous Citgo sign, Zakim Bridge, Prudential Center, John Hancock Tower, and other local landmarks will “go dark” for one hour this month as Boston joins cities across the world in a climate-change campaign.

More than 1,000 cities in 80 countries are expected to participate in Earth Hour on March 28, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. World Wildlife Fund, the event’s sponsor, is asking individuals, businesses, governments, and organizations to turn off their lights for one hour to make a global statement of concern about climate change and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.

Silly. This does nothing, because then these same climahysterics will just go back to their normal energy wasting lives, and expect someone else to change their behavior, because “they can’t afford to change their lifestyle, what with work and the kids….” This is just another stunt. And liberals complain about the terror alerts being politicized. Snicker.

More bad news on climate change is expected as more than 2,000 climate scientists gather in Copenhagen.

They will be trying to pull together the latest research on global warming ahead of political negotiations later in the year.

The scientists are concerned that the 2007 reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) are already out of date.

Their data suggests greater rises in sea levels this century.

Without the bad news, the scientists can’t get grants, the cool people won’t listen to them, and they won’t get invited to vacation spots like Copenhagen for climate change symposiums. Also, government and pundits can’t scare people into buying carbon offsets and forced behavior change, usually spelled $$$, if they aren’t pushing doom and gloom.

Silly. This does nothing…

The point is not to solve our climate change problem. The point is awareness, which is apparently needed, as evidenced by your lies. You are definitely UNaware.
