Those creatures over there on the left would like to stifle debate and shut up opponents of the Spendulous Bill. So they grasp at straws to slander opponents. The “Racist!” card is their big club. So they’ll always try to drag it in, by hook or by crook.

God forbid they be made to defend their follies by reasoned debate!

For what it’s worth, I don’t see a racial overtone to the cartoon. You’re right to snicker at the folks who are outraged over it. It deserves ignoring.

It’s just not that clever. The analogy of an face-eating 200 pound chimp going apeshit doesn’t function as incisive stimulus criticism no matter what your opinions are. It’s not an outrageous cartoon–just a dumb one. Stick to what you are good at: one-word irony–nutroots, stick-it-to-us–as well as zingers on Ayers and citizenship and Hussein. Our nation has renounced government by zinger and irony and ad hominem and conspiracy and good old Joe-the-Plumber ignorance; it didn’t work well, sure, but I advise you to crouch over here and keep working on that stuff. Ideas are out; leadership is risky; facts are irrelevant. Zingers! That’s how we’ll put people back to work! Irony saves homes! ad Hominems defeat terrorists! Joe the Plumber!

It’s obvious to anyone who’s not an idiot that this is a comparison between a crazed ape and the leadership of Congress, not calling Obama a monkey!

First off Obama did NOT write the stick-it-to-us bill.
He delegated that to Pelosi and the house Dummycracts.

If they had showed a monkey doing something that Obama actually did then maybe, just maybe, they may have weak argument that it was a racist insult.
