"You hate to demonize these people." Apparently, this kind of thing goes on all the time in Mexico. The food and other supplies are for the wedding party that is thrown by way of the "dowry" that is paid. Of course, the father and the husband are both illegals, so why aren't we simply asking the feds to escort all of them across the border and let their local customs take effect? Because we have more hopiness and truthiness these days, and the state of California is such a happy, culturally permissive and tolerant place, albeit broke. Don't forget to visit and lol ur pols pho paws!
