It is a great warm fuzzy story, but what worries me is that PETA representatives showed up, and got to escort the lobster back to Maine. I have a terrifying vision of hippies sitting around a bonfire on the beach, enjoying fresh lobster whilst they bang there bongos. Did anyone from the Seafood restaurant accompany the PETA reps to ensure that George REALLY met the waves and returned safely to freedom? You know what they say, “cops have the best dope”… and PETA people might have the best seafood.
