Can someone explain something to me. Why is that Americans are the only those in the world who support Israel? Isn't that because virtually all mainstream media in the US are singing the propaganda song for Israel? Isn't that because virtually all politicians in the US pledged allegiance to Israel? Why the Europe for instance can stay independent where everyone is entitled to their own opinion? Isn't that because Americans are the most ignorant people in the world? Sure, Israel attacked Gaza because Hamas keeps firing rockets into Israel? But why on earth no one in the US is asking why Hamas is doing that?

No, that's not a bad thing at all. Debate's always a good thing. I respect most of what you say, but some of it, no. Doesn't make you a bad person, or a terrorist or any of that. You're right, hopefully this will all be solved before much more blood is lost, but it won't happen until people figure out that when you add hate to hate, what do you get? More hate! Thanks for Holiday wishes, and same to you Susu!

Good, im glad you feel all grown up. Well the only thing I've come to terms with in the time that I've been responding to you, and this doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, is that you can't change anyone's mind. Your entitled to your opinion as much as i am to mine. Hopefully a year from now no one will be having this conversation and all the problems are solved. So until then, Merry Late Christmas and Happy Early New Years Pat!

Well ma'am, with all due respect, that type of viewpoint seems to be what keeps this roller coaster going. I mean, of course, there are innocent civilians being hurt. That's always tragic. But unfortunately, in a war, usually that's just what happens. But in this particular case, between Israel and the Palestinians, people are simply dilluting themselves. Simple as that.

For one thing, from where I sit, there aren't very many innocents on either side. Hamas won the parlimentary elections, did they not? I know, I know, not everyone voted for them. But the more wars they start, the more people support them, no doubt the same people who voted for them and the same people who complain and cry on t.v. when they're dodging bombs while calling themselves innocent. So maybe you can explain it to me. Am I missing something here? Because to me, that's just backward thinking, regressive thinking at it's best(or worst). As far as who's actually trying to kill innocents, I seem to remember a rocket attack on Sderot last year that hit a house and killed a family. Hamas's reaction was what? Dancing on rooftops! Firing machine guns in the air, celebrating this deed? I know everything isn't always what it seems, but that was absolutely evil lady, no matter who you want to slice it. They burn or flag, scream,"Death to America", when we haven't fired a single shot at em'? It's not our fault if they don't choose to use their brains instead of rockets and guns.

And Israel falls into this mess every year it seems, and drags us right in with them. I don't support them, but in this one Susu, you have to admit whether you want to or not, the Israelis played it by the book. That's why the only one's you hear denouncing Israel right now are the one's who would've done so no matter what. The truth is there, the facts are there. Whether you choose to see it for what it is or not, that's up to you. Hamas is the one who targets innocents. Hamas is the one who started this war. Israel warned them, plain as day, to stop firing rockets. You know it. I know it. Israel reacted the way anyone would, including you Susu. Tell yourself whatever you want, but that's the truth.

How about solutions? I haven't heard many of them so far. One thing is absolutely concrete that has to happen before anything else can, and that is everyone, from Iran and Syria, the Palestinians and everyone in between, the time is going to come when they all will have to face up to the fact that Israel is NOT GOING ANYWHERE! They are not going to destroy the state of Israel. Iran can threaten, but I gotta believe that there's enough people in Iran who don't wanna get blown to the moon, which is exactly what will happen if they attack Israel or Bahrain, or any of our other so-called "friends". Agree or dissagree, Israel is there to stay. The sooner everyone comes to terms with that, the sooner heads can cool off, hence cooler heads can prevail. Also, the U.S. needs to stay out of it. Why does it take us for them to have peace? All us being there does is gives the people who need conflict to remain relevant more ammo to dish. When they're ready, they'll either destroy each other, or go out to dinner and work it out. But they can call us when they need us. We don't need to have our nose all up in everyone's dirty laundry. Barack's doin the right thing by staying quiet. All we have to do is disengage alittle bit, and I betcha, people will start to remember quick enough why they used to love the good ol' United States of America. Well now, I feel all grown up! :))

Susu: Israel IS the Victim here. You don't seem to understand that when you shoot rockets and, mortars into your neighbors yard you are trying to kill your neighbor. They have every right indeed they have a duty to their family to walk next door and, kill you to protect their family from you. I don't know what could be easier to understand than that. Stop trying to kill your neighbor and, they will not kill you. That's all there is to it. Stop trying to kill your neighbor.

Yes you have. i do not disagree with anything you said, all im saying is that the Israeli's have gone further than planning attacks on Hamas, they are creating massacres and killing innocent people and yet Israel is trying to play victim and that's all that bothers me.

Actually somebody here gave me an idea.
It is based on the doNotCallList in US
where you indicate to Telemarketers that
you do not want to be part of their business.

How about to create two secure web lists in Switzerland.
Secure so Hamas can't get at them.
The people of Gaza who do not want to support Hamas would register on
notTerrorist list.
The people of Gaza who support Hamas would register on
yesTerrorist list.

Then a third party would report how many people are on each list.
Then the Palestine would have two states, WestBank (for notTerrorist) and Gaza (for yesTerrorist).
I think this would solve any future problems, people who are not terrorists would not be bombed; people who support Hamas would get their wish.

Oh, wow, what a champion you are! First, I have to say, you wrote a message to someone saying they were just like all the other terrorists out there(which you just shouldn't say to someone, period), and when you sent it, it was emailed to me. So I thought you were directing that to me. If I was mistaken, then you do have my sincerest apologies.

Now, back to the meat and potatoes. Good for you, you worked the extra yard to see what's really going on, yet you don't seem to know any more than anyone else. No sh*t, Bush is called a terrorist in many parts of the world. I know as well as anybody because I travel all over the world myself, including many parts or the M.E. These ignorant, sorry excuses for people, including some I work with, tried to call Barack a terrorist, as completely and utterly absurd as that is. So yea, that word is alittle extra sensitive for me right now. People just shouldn't call each other that at all.

Nah lady, the difference between you and me is actually much simpler than you said. From where I sit, you're invested in all this, mind, body, and spirit. That's your right. But as I told you earlier, I don't care. I'll just be happy when we come to the end of the road with this. I'm no fan of Israel, the Palestinians, Hezbollah, or Iran. I certainly don't care for the Bush Admin. What angers me is the good name of the United States of America being dragged round and round on this stupid merry go round. Since these people can't seem to use a phone, or send an email, or just sit down and talk like most rational people, and all they wanna do is fight each other, then let the idiots bury each other and be done with it. You can't force peace on anyone. If Hamas is committed to destroy Israel, let them try. And when they get slapped around like they are now, don't expect anyone(including those who supposedly worked the extra yard to see both sides of the situation) to feel too sorry for them.

As for you and I, Ms. Susu, if you say you are an American citizen, that's great. I would never call you a terrorist because you wear a scarf on your head. Now, if you have terrorist's ideoligies, that's different. Believeing that Hitler didn't kill enough Jews, that's bad, no matter how you feel about them. Since you are an American citizen, how does it make you feel to see people burning your flag and wishing death to your country? These are the people you sympathize with? Really? Is it unfair to ask you that? Is it unfair to ask you wear you stand? If people have dissagreements with America, that's okay. We aren't perfect. We can work it out. If you have dissagreements with Bush, burn pictures of his ass! Take off your shoes and throw them at him. I probably woulda thrown a brick. But to burn our flag, now you're calling all of us out. So what do you think lady? Have I come of age enough for you?

If you have dissagreements with Bush, burn pictures of his ass! Take off your shoes and throw them at him. I probably woulda thrown a brick. But to burn our flag, now you’re calling all of us out. So what do you think lady? Have I come of age enough for you?
