Humans would probably do well to focus on the near term say the next 100 years or so. The climate change expected in the near term 100 years does not include global cooling. What may happen after the arctic polar ice caps melt and the Greenland ice melts no one is sure of: however humans and nature have both adapted to what was the past norm. change in the future will be hard to adjust to. Again I expect 2008 to rank in the top 10% of all years as far as global temps are concerned.
