It seems that you have what is really short of today - good sense. I've never owned a "registered" weapon in my life. Why would I want people who are going to take guns away know what I have? I know the records are suppose to be destroyed but with computers today - who knows if they really are and our "leaders" aren't just lying to us - as usual? Does anyone check on them? And if they catch them - do they throw them in jail like they would me for not wearing a seat belt? You ought to see all the cops on the road now that the election is over!! I guess they have to make up for lost time some but it seems to me that they've been told - pull them over and write tickets or lose your job! God, we need a good Revolution in this country!!! That will save the gun grabbers some time. The people buying guns now have a problem. Law requires the purchase records to be destroyed after a short time but several states/cities have been caught with purchase records that go back for years. I'll purchase my firearms from a private individual/flea market to assure they are unregistered, seal some of them along with lots of ammo in PVC pipe and bury them.
