I would say that if you are a career welfarist and for redistribution of wealth, then Obama is your guy. However, if you are gainfully employed, there is absolutely no incentive for you to vote for this guy, at least financially speaking.

Americans really seem to have short term memory problems. And I am convinced this is what the Democrats are counting on. Bush the 41st bereaks a campaign promise 3 years into his term and people still remember it today, but Clinton breaks the one promise he runs on a month into his first term and no one cares.

So the bigger question is will Obama “pull a Clinton” should he actually get elected to office. Remember in 1992? It all starts with a Middle Class Tax Cut (And Bill “felt our pain). But the minute he took office, he turned around and said, “um, yeah sorry. I looked at the numbers and remember that Middle Class tax Cut thing? Well yeah…. Ain’t gonna happen. In fact we’re going to raise your taxes instead, and guess what, we’re not going to raise them effective today, we’re going to make it retroactive to 1/1/93. And bill worked harder on that than anything in his life.

So I ask you how much should you put into what Obama has to say about cutting taxes on working families? As was stated above, Obama doesn’t have any record of EVER wanting to cut a tax, and The Democrats have shown in the past they have no problem just saying BOHICA America.
