Theme Question + Cleaning You Code

OK, do y’all like the current theme, or this one I have put quite a bit of work in to? Although, a lot of the time was in widgetizing the sidebar.

Reason I as is that I was developing it because the current one had issues with the right sidebar in certain screen widths and older Internet Explorer. Apparently, something that I removed recently stopped the problem of the R sidebare dropping below the center.

One thing I like about the current theme is the post area loads first. I won’t be able to do that without massive work in the new one.

I do have to clean up the code a bit, though. In case you weren’t aware, the more lines in the code, the slower the load (among others.) One way to fix is to combine lines, mostly in the CSS (stylesheet.) See this tutorial, tip #3.

I like the test site theme…hmm I wonder why?? Hmm could it be that I use the same theme?

I would suggest making the font bigger though- it’s hard to read. Or perhaps I’m just too old and need glasses?

ANd how did you get the header with an image? I’ve been looking for the perfect flag to turn into a graphic but can’t find one wide enough.

Thanks for the feedback, folks. Now I have a decision to make.

I’ll email you how to do the header, Raven.

Welcome on the tip, Joe. It really does work.

PS, Raven. How’s the font size now? Took awhile, but noticed that a bit of code was missing that would allow me to change the font size in the posting area on main page
