Pelosi’s slap at Clinton’s supporters is not going to be ignored. I am thinking that at the Democratic Convention Hillary will let her supporters do her dirty work for her in disrupting the “harmonious environment” in Denver. Then in the event that Obama loses the presidential election, she (Clinton) and her supporters can claim the Democrats picked the wrong savior, which will automatically make her the front-runner in 2012.

Seriously, this is Clinton’s only shot. If Obama wins, her aspirations of becoming the first female president are gone. Obama would be the presumptive candidate in 2012 assuming he doesn’t pull an LBJ, which would make Hillary unable to run until 2016, when she would be 69 years old, which would possibly be too old to run (shhh, don’t tell John McCain).

So realistically it is in Hillary’s best interest for Obama to lose and if Clinton can have a hand in it without being directly involved would only benefit her. Or is that giving her too much credit for scheming out a plan?
