This last spring was the 7th warmest out of 128

Not where I am it wasn't. We were below average as far as the temperature this spring. And in fact we have been below average for the summer so far.

I think that it would be best if the egrets were able to continue breeding in their normal places as far as the semantic use of normal vs usual or mean within a range of years it has definitly warmed at a rate that we have never been able to record. It is the rate of change that worries people the most and at this time the only thing that appears able to have increased that rate of change is the actions of the 7 billion humans. Neither volcanic or sun activity could have caused the change taht we have seen in the last 50 years. This last spring was the 7th warmest out of 128

John, there is no such thing as a normal temperature. The average climate metric change. Always have, always will. The growing seasons were longer and farther north during the Global Climate Optimum, allowing a pretty good agricultural society in Greenland. Then, the Little Ice Age came along, and ruined it and killed off the vikings in greenland. It happens. Welcome to the reality of the Earth's climate.

I got a good chuckle out of the Wikipedia source. All I was doing was looking for some info on the Heron's, seeing what their normal range had been, and then noticed the similarities between the article and the Wiki. :)

wouldn't increased CO2 emissions help the food crisis? Plants synthesize CO2, therefore more CO2 means more plants, which means more crops. Well of course unless the greenies want us to use those plants for fuel (see also ethanol).

No Teach we do not need global cooling. Or global warming. Our farm infrastructure in place now is set for a certain climate. If there is global warming and Canada becomes ripe for mangoes are we going to want to see a wholesale forced migration of peoples from the now uninhabitable south march to the north ?
