I don’t agree with the UN most of the time, but, they do good work now and then. I do not agree with Democrats most of the time, but do every now and then (see the post before this one.) Every once in a while, the ACLU and I will see eye to eye.

I don’t mind, I’ll try and check it a bit later. About to head to work, wanted to reply before going.

So it’s only when the ACLU defends things that you agree with that they don’t have a political agenda? I don’t necessarily agree with everything the ACLU does all the time either. I just thought it was funny that a blog dedicated to “stopping” the ACLU could post this story. I hope you don’t mind, Teach, but I posted about this at Hooah Wife.

No one said the ACLU was completely bad. Every once in a while they do what you would expect a group that is there to protect civil rights to do.

Most of the time, though, they have a political agenda.

It’s interesting that your source for this was Stop the ACLU since this is exactly something the ACLU would protest if it happened in this country. This same situation happened in Las Vegas a few years ago and the ACLU defended the street preachers.
