According to Democrats.com, it’s not going well
On Thursday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi will force the House to approve $163 billion more of our tax dollars for the occupation of Iraq – nearly $100 billion for 2008 plus nearly $70 billion more for 2009.
We are outraged. This Democratic Congress was elected to end the occupation, not fund it forever.
Of course they are outrage. But, then, that is the normal state for the Reality Based Community. Good thing the nutters at Crooks and Liars are getting involved, especially when one of them thinks that Nancy Pelosi is a traitor.
One of them does bring up a good point: what is the Bill number? I have searched all around, and I cannot find it. The calendars for the House for Thursday and Friday simply say they are meeting.
BTW, remember when Nancy and The Surrender Monkeys said that they would work 5 day weeks? Looking at this years calendar, including today, there has been 129 days. Taking out Saturday’s and Sunday’s, that leaves 94 work days. They have been in session for 54 days. In fact, they have worked a full week exactly twice.
