I agree. Mainstream media outlets absolutely HATE any other forums for gathering information that may be contrary to what they are presenting. I think it used to be that News outlets like CBS, NBC, ABC, AP, et. al. got off on being the ones to control elections, because they controlled the information. I seem to recall some classic quote about he who controls the flow of information controls the the world… something like that.

Anyway, now that they (MSM) can’t control what is published in blogs and there are so many more outlets for news such as Drudge or Fox News that would never have seen the light of day 25-30 years ago, they realize that they don’t have a stranglehold anymore which is what irks them about Bush being in the White House, and why they push so hard to emphasize the indiscretions of the right while doing their best non-reporting reporting on items that would hurt members of the left side of the aisle.

Don’t forget that Elliot Spitzer is a Super-Delagate as well. But you never see his Party affiliation in regards to his “indiscretions”.

In contrast when Mark Foley and Larry Craig made headlines for theior indiscretions you always saw an (R) after their name.
