Well, there are all sorts of progressives: kooks, wackjobs, nutjobs, straightjackets, etc. It is all just to what degree!

If you haven’t read Liberal Fascism, you should check it out. It is a hard read, since it is monsterously detailed, but, well worth it.

1. Isn’t that a tad redundant?

2. It never ceases to amaze me that every single solitary person I have yet met who claims to be a political “progressive” is a reactionary communist-socialist statist anarcho-tyrant whose goal is to “progress” to the bad old days of soviet style central government rule, just better, more thorough, more pseudo “American” in style.
