I can understand Coleman’s frustration. No one seems to want to have a big, media-attention grabbing debate about this.

And I’ve noticed that it’s the environmentalists, who always seem to say we should respect other people’s opinions, are the ones to attack and belittle anyone who says that maybe man isn’t the cause.

In my column that I wrote, I said that it’s time to have this debate and present both sides if we’re really serious about this topic.

I guess that means I shouldn’t go ahead with my new venture of selling carbon credits? I was looking forward to planting new trees in my yard for a few thousand each

Yes, we should, in most cases. As far as Man’s largest contribution, agriculture, I don’t think we can do much. But, other things, like decreasing ocean pollution are real world solutions that also benefit the ecosphere.

If human activities were NOT solely, or even mainly responsible for global climate change, should those human activities that merely ADD to global climate change be reduced ?
Say human activities were only responsible for 49% of the change, or 40% or 33% or xx% should we make an attempt, or no attempt, to reduce our impact on global climate change ?
