Every military base or naval station is a sovereign part of the United States, as are embassies.

The argument was pointless, scurrilous, and flat stupid on it’s face, designed to cast invalid aspersions on McCain.

Were there anything to the argument, it would have been made in 2000 when McCain last ran.

Oh – and he was born to parents who were serving the military at the time. That makes this an absolute non-issue. Its late and my mind is tired so I can’t think of what that’s called at the moment. But you’d have no military ppl serving overseas having babies if that meant their children weren’t citizens. That’s just ridiculous.

But like you said, even the leftards aren’t wanting to go there because they don’t want anyone shining that same light on the Obamessiah.

They are terrified of John McCain (and they should be). They are really grasping at straws to make this an issue. Its ridiculous.

I would think that Obama wouldn’t want to open this can of worms – considering that his father wasn’t a citizen and he wasn’t raised in the US. His eligibility is by the skin of his nails as it is. I know he’s eligible, but just barely.

I’m mostly impressed with how scared they are of McCain.
