Teach, you are wrong – just as you were about Marxism. Mein Kampf gives a very detailed plan of how Hitler will re-exert Germany’s power on the world stage. If your understanding of history is any indication I really have to wonder about your knowledge of Obama.

Lack of experience is a valid criticism but comparing Obama to Hitler is just ridiculous.

I’ve read Obama’s pages, just like I spent plenty of time at john kerry’s website. He still is political lightweight with virtually no experience. We are looking for a president, not a dogcatcher who hopes he can find the pups.

Hitler and the fascist movements were decidedly left wing. Hitler and his version were populist, and had few actual detailed plans, other then Statism. How to get there, they had no clue. Grand ideals, but nothing beyond a rudimentary rough draft.

Ronald Reagan and Winston Churchill were also very effective communicators – that didn’t make them Hitler.

I’d love to know what Obama has to offer besides hope and change. Hell, most of his hard core supporters do not know what the guy offers in a substantive manner.

Teach, I majored in modern European history at West Point and my parents grew up in Germany during WWII. You couldn’t be more wrong. Adolph Hitler despised Marxism. He opposed the idea of class conflict and instead focused on nationalism and anti-Semitism. He considered Marxism a Jewish doctrine.

I haven’t decided who I’m going to vote for yet but I can tell you it’s not going to be based solely on ideology. McCain and Obama are both good men who would bring different talents to the office of the Presidency.
