You are right, Janette, he doesn't. But, I think that will help him come time for the general election debates and such, when he comes off as experienced, stable, and presidential, and Obama comes off as nothing more then rhetoric.

We are kinda on the same plain, Gary. I will vote for virtually any Republican to keep a Dem out of the white house, at least at this time. I did vote Clinton in 96 and Gore in 2000.

I am a tried and true Democrat and will support the party's nominee even if it's "Ernest". What has me terrified is Obamaa'a lack of substance...it's 99.9 rhetoric coming from the mouth of an inexperienced but GIFTED orator. Barack will be a great pres. someday....BUT for this election we better hope Hillary comes through. Like her or not, she has specific answers not just a tited stump like= "when I'm your president blah, blah. blah,...' I'm 49/will vote for Barack only if necessary to keep another republican out of the white house!

McCain makes a good point but at this point, who's listening to him?. Obama may be perceived as an empty suit by most political wonks but we political wonks will make upa very small portion of voters in the general election. Average people make the judgment of who they'll vote for based on emotions and sound bites, not facts.

Face it, John McCain doesn't exactly inspire the warm fuzzies in me much less the "average" voter.

The odds on a Democratic White House victory went to a new high today.
It has now reached 67 dollars to buy a 100 dollar contract. Intrade.com
