There is a wonderful tradition in the Army. Whenever soldiers get together for a formal affair they always set an extra place at a special table that remains empty throughout the meal. It is to remind us that somewhere a soldier is serving in harms-way and cannot be with us. It also honors those who will never be with us again.

“Virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor, my friend, and this alone that renders us INVINCIBLE. These are the tactics we should study. If we lose these, we are conquered, fallen indeed…”
- Virginian Patrick Henry, US Founding Father (1739 – 1799).
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Silke!

Excellent quote, Darth.
